Oh you kids!!!

The best music was from the 1940's!!!

Sentimental Journey - Les Brown with Doris Day
It's Been a Long, Long Time - Harry James with Kitty Kallen
Rum and Coca-Cola - Andrews Sisters
On The Atchison, Topeka, and the Santa Fe - Johnny Mercer
Till The End Of Time - Perry Como

And my all time favorite, "I'm Looking Over a 4 Leaf Clover."

Now kids. THAT was music!!!

TT

The 50's weren't bad either, TT. The 60's can't be beat for good ol' Rock and Roll.

You are absolutely right lilac!!!

The 1950's produced the very best music know to mankind!

I have a huge collection of iTunes music and 95% of it is from the 1950's. Some in the early '60's was real good too.

And I like all kinds of music ... 30's Big Bands, 40's songs, 50's rock 'n Roll and for me I liked the Jazz from the 60's. Early Country, Blue Grass ... I like a variety of music just like I like a variety of juices to vape. But most of the music I like is old and most of the juice I have is steeped.

I'm just yanking your chain TT! I love all types of music. It seems the only music I cannot get into is the rap music. I have listened to a new type of music called "party rock". I see why the young uns love it. It does have a nice beat. It's different.
