Good grief! That is HUGE!
Why thank you...... Mrs Wharf sure likes it
Good grief! That is HUGE!
We used to have toast torn into little pieces in a bowl with milk on it.
And rolled oats with coffee in it when there was no milk.
We didn't know we were poor because we had linoleum on the kitchen floor and nobody else around us did.
So we thought we were well-to-do kids.

I'm moving back down south Fran LOL! I don't want to be a grown up here anymore![]()
I don't want to be a grown up at all.
I used to make my own cinnamon/sugar mix to make cinnamon toast for a snack. I'd mix it (cinnamon/sugar) in a sandwich bag and store it for later use. I used to use the same mix to make my instant microwave applesauce (chopped apples nuked then mashed).
TT, my Dad loved a glass of buttermilk with cornbread crumbled in.
I didn't realize how poor we were when I was growing up, either. We had plenty to eat and a roof over our heads. I thought poor people had no food and slept on sidewalks.
Good morning TT and Fran and Lilac!
School is cancelled for today although there is NOTHING on the ground yet here. Just a precautionary as to what may develop later on I suppose. Still not sure what to expect for this storm. Latest models show us in the 3-6 inch range while another (noaa.gov) has us at 8-16. I sure hope for the lesser of the two evils. Will definitely let ya'll know tomorrow morning what we ended up with as long as I can get online.
lilac, your Daddy and I would have got along great together! I love buttermilk more than anything and some cornbread in it would just make it a nice meal!

TT after you make your list of all the thing you're not going to do today, do you cross them off one at a time after you don't do them ???
It's that darn global warming thing. Just think how cold it would be if it hadn't warmed up to snow and ice. Brrr the thought of it makes me shiver. I'm sure glad we have those people (the global warming believers) to warn us about how hot it's getting.
