Not to worry, he hasn't nor will he get a single penny from me. If Katie wants to continue to put money on his commissary account, that's her business. I just handle the transactions for her on the computer.

When we were at the local garden center yesterday, Katie fell in love with these flowers (pericallis) so I went back there today and bought her a big pot of them for Mother's Day. Yep I know it's still a wee away, but I didn't want to wait and take a chance that they would all be gone :)

LD I can't blame anyone for supplying something that could kill me. It's my decision and responsibility to keep my own self alive. It is a shame though when others can't figure that out.

I had a good friend in the program that went out and OD'd. I was really tore up[ about it and all my sponsor said way "I'm glad !!!" I asked ... are you talking about. And he told me that it was a reminder that it's still happening out there and that if he tries the same, it could happen to him. And better my buddy than him. He was a bass turd but I thank him to this day for my recovery.

... and I agree LD screw Guilt !!! It's an unproductive emotion and I can't change what I've done anyhow. All I can do today is working to the best of my ability to be the best I can be.

I agree Wharf. You can't change where you been or what you've done. You can only change what will come. Let them who hasn't sinned cast the first stone.

Heck, living out in south west New Mexico I always had to work too hard to have time to get into trouble. There wasn't even time for things like that ... eating and a ride was a lot more important. Naturally, I've tried everything there was at the time and the candy got to me too at one point, but I was offered a real good job that really paid good money and I had to make a choice. Keep going the way I was or straighten up and go after that job. I went after the job and it was the best decision I ever made.

Never been arrested, never have had a wreck, haven't had a traffic ticket since 1962 and ended up with some really good children that I'm super proud of.

I finally found a pair of shoes. Been to every store in a 10 mi. radius and either they all had the same thing or they were too narrow. I have a medium width shoe but sizes are so screwy any more. I've been looking for 2 mo. so it was getting to be an emergency. Finally found some at Macy's. Had to get a 12 because it was the same size as the 10.5 I usually wear. What a relief. I could've ordered online but with sizes being so goofy I know it would've been a 10.5 for a pigeon toed midget.
A few yrs. ago I was getting a compressor and the guy shows me a 10hp. so I point to my 10hp. and ask him how his could be a 10hp. and mine was twice the size? He said the ratings are from china and mine are from the U.S.. He said his was 10 shetland pony hp and mine was 10 thoroughbred hp. I guess shoes are the same.

Hey Five!! What coffee maker didja get??? A Keurig?? Just made a run for some coffee tonight{Keurig Cups}...

The things I've done in my life...Well I'm sure I worried my Mother, Father and Grandparents...Other than them I was the only one effected...No matter what I do...I never go half way...It's all or nothing...All was good with the candy....then the horse showed up...that is what had me chained too a dang bed...Truth is I learn from my mistakes...I'm still here and healthy as a horse...I'm loved by many and hated by a few...No guilt for the Evel One...

Shoes don't seem sized right to me either...Mostly I'm a 13....I went too the store and tried on the Rockys...then ordered on line...My Vans are pretty consistent...Always 13....

It looks like we've all been in similar situations when we were younger. The important thing is we lived and we learned! We grew up and moved onto much better things. :) We are some VERY SMART BUZZARDS!!! ;)

I have been so busy last week, moving dd home from college, renting out the apartment at my Dad's house, opening new bank accounts for said apartment, my ex totaled his beloved pickup by overworking himself and falling asleep at the wheel, dd's Junior Prom last night. Whew!! Makes for one stressed out, worn out 908!!!! lol

Hoping once again that life settles down just a bit here so I can breathe!!!

BTW...my ex is ok, thank God, he just hurt his back some but will be fine.

Wharf, Your daughter is beautiful!!! I am sure she is the light of your life (along with your wife of course) and makes ya proud! That's awesome that she got the lead in the play!!!

I'll have to go to the store to find the name. I like grinding my coffee just before I use it so I get the whole beans. Fresher that way. I was using a carrmel flavor but I really like this chocolate. It's a Millstone coffee. I put a little french vanilla creamer in it with a touch of sugar and I'm ready.

LD before I buy anything I learned to read the consumers reports and reviews on them. The Kuerig K-Cup came out on top so that's the one I got.

I like GM's Breakfast Blend in a regular coffee cup, and their Nantucket Blend in my travel mug. I also really like Coffee People's Donut Shop. I really want to try those chocolate coffee's now too!
