Phew, finally getting back to normal, should be fine for the open water class checkout dives this weekend. Water temp is 51 - 52F, likely a bit warmer in the shallow bay area where we do these dives, within the rational zone for students diving wet with farmer john suits. Other instructors will likely dive drysuit, I'm thinking of going wet, 3mm full suit + 5mm core warmer; I run warm, and vastly prefer the dexterity/awareness in a wetsuit compared to drysuit.
