I'm loving my Sun Super 1300 tank kit, but whenever the juice level falls below half, THIS HAPPENS!

I have tried holding the ecig pointing forward, pointing up to the sky, pointing down to the ground, and every angle in between, but I can't figure it out

Any ideas how I can avoid this. I keep getting juice in my mouth, and can't always refill or switch cartridges when I'm out or working so some insight would be great.
In the meantime I have 10x Mega Dual Coil cartomizers on the way, I can't wait till they arrive.

Unfortunately it's a design flop. I don't know of a way to remedy it other than to take super easy draws. As for the Mega Dual Coil cartomizers, they're an excellent vape and a lot better than the tanks you have.

I've tried different types of tank systems, and to be honest, I could never get the hang of it or I had problems so I always went back to using cartomizers.

Ok well thanks for trying.
Today it's not so bad getting it in my mouth since I'm vaping a rather light juice. 60/40 RY4/Watermelon.
But when I've got bobas bounty or gorilla juice I end up with a big brown stain on my teeth lol

I dumped the tanks on my ego a month after I got it and went to cartomizers...so much better, IMHO

I didn't like the tanks for my ego either.. There always seemed to be a problem with it! While the concept seems absolutely genius, it never preformed for me.


I went to cartomizers.. 2.0 boge cartomizers are the way I go now! They are work horses, I swear. It gives me that real big hit I had been missing, nice and warm, and it doesn't get liquid in my mouth!

Yep I use the Mega dual coils and was thinking about getting a tank but, at this point, I really don't think I need it cuz these cartos hold so much juice.

Well, the holidays are over and my dual coil carts have finally been shipped!

Luckily I found an Aussie vendor that sends overnight, and cost is even better than the international vendor, let alone the money I'm saving on shipping. Hopefully, I should recieve my delivery from JuiceWhore tomorrow...
$2.50 each plus 8.95 shipping, a bargain! Also get a sample juice freebie. I wanted to get the Peach Seisha, but on checking my order, looks like I got the Snickerdoodle cookie (it was about 4am when i placed my order so it's a bit of a blur, lol)

Too bad they don't sell any nicotine juices I've ordered some nicotine smoke juice but it's coming from china=1-2weeks

But I have plenty other flavors I still need to try in my repertoire.

Try to flick the tip with your fingers. The drop should go back into the tank.

Hi DrMagick & welcome to ECF..i love the tank system..a little more care and proper filling the set up works wonder..yr problem seem to be only 2 things U did wrong..try and inhale a long soft draws..not like sucking liquid up a straw..when U do that..this liquid will appear in yr mouth pc..so avoid hard draw..the other is the moisture will built up over time after several hours vapping ..all that is needed is to lift the top and 2nd plastic separator and using q-tip mopped up the built up juice..if U see droplets further down..then U need to flush out using a syringe without the needle with water.

by the way when U filled the cartridge,never lift the cap "open" to fill as in doing so will result in leak(cause the seal is broken)..try this..puncture yr cartridge after that if U can removed the little "flap" with a tweezer, great..if not it is still ok..than proceed to fill yr juice using a syringe with needle attached into the hole U punctured..but the most important step for securing the atomizer with the cartridge..(if U take a look at yr cartridge it is not round or square..it is oblong in shape..try and lined this with the atomizer's metal plate(the plate look like figure 8) yr outlet vapor holes(the slots) should be 3 & 9 o'clock to the figure 8..and always reload with the cartridge pointing toward ceiling and atomizer locked in with a "click" sound..if U done all that U will like the cartridge tank system..i like it with the 510 tank/cartridge as i vape using 4 flavors(1/2 ml is good,last 1 1/2 hrs vapping rather than 2 ml just too much vapping 1 flavor for me)..with 4 e-cigs set up i vape all day)..if all failed use cartomizer as recommended by most members..Happy vapping New Year..best wishes mafig ps hope U can understand what i wrote

Australia Post courier dropped by this morning with my latest HealthCabin order.
Amongst the multiples of different types of atomizers and cartomizers, I also had a Joyetech Ego-T 1000 kit and passthrough in my order (the 1300 only coming with 1 giant battery did not suffice, as I had nothing to smoke for 3 hours everyday while charging)

Anyways, I'm using the smaller (type-A) tanks at the moment. Used a syringe to refill so didn't break the seal. Have almost finished my first tank of Dunhill deluxe, and not a drop of juice has leaked through the tank And I been smoking it just as hard as I was smoking my Sun Super 1300! I love it. Although I did order the wrong one. I meant to get the 510 tank kit, so alot of the new stuff I have ordered will not fit onto this, lol

I gave the Sun Super to my lil bro as he wanted one as he wanted to quit smoking analogues.
This turned out to be a great day for both of us

The explanation I got when this happened to me was that I wasn't taking "nice long draws on it". So maybe try taking softer pulls. If it continues just replace. Good luck!

I loaded up some "Juicy Peach" into a 2.0 ohm dual coil cart and took er for a test spin. I must say that the tank puts out way better flavor. Also didn't like that loud noise of me sucking air through it, lols
After spending an obscene ammount on cartomizers, I realised I liked the tanks better, lols
Also, these tanks came with a little slip on cover for the mouthpieces which I could use as extra protection from getting a mouth full of ejuice.

I would closly inspect your tank for cracks, and take out the end cap that goes into your mouth and the drip prevention cap just below that and inspect them for cracks. Does this happen to all of your tanks? Maybe this one is just a dud and you should chuck it out.

Nope, absolutely no leaks and all 5 tanks suffered from the same affliction. I think the seal around the spike was not tight enough causing the juice to leak down the sides of the tank and into the air channels.

My ego-T does not have this problem, but it does suffer a distinct metallic taste. I thought it may be only because it was new, and would ware off as I broke it in. But no joy (I'd just like to add that i wasn't using the standard atty that came with the ego-t kit. It was an aftermarket low resistance atomizer that I bought from health cabin. I might give the stock Attys a try to see if they have the metallic taste.)

I tried some other dual coil carts but a) vapor was poor compared to tank
b) they ran way to hot to keep my lips on.

Anyways, my JuiceWhore order arrived today. I ordered 10x of these bad boys and I LOVE EM!


Good flavor, ok vapor (not as good as a tank, but better then some other carts I tried), no metal taste, and doesn't run hot

I think I have found my all time carto/atty. I wouldn't mind the tanks though the distinct taste of metal is really putting me off even my fave juices (bobas bounty, juicy peach, watermelon all sucked with a hint of metal)

I hope my incessant rants will hopefully help some other noobs who stumble onto the thread.
