Legal to vape indoors in Iowa
(Law and the E-cigarette forum)

Anyone know of any other "STATE" that has gone "On the Record" announcing it is OK to vape anywhere in their state?

The Iowa Department of Health announced it was OK to vape indoors in Iowa!

This ranks up there with Katherine Heigl & David Letterman using an E-cigarette on the Late Show.

If I was in charge of any E-cigarette campaign...I would plaster this information on every pro-vaping website and encourage marketers to add the information and links on their commercial websites.

Other states may very well join in and "Follow the Leader"!!!

This is a HUGE success story for our cause...and a "happy dance" would be in order.

Storyspinr is too modest. She is the main reason that we have the legal opinion of AG Ken Cuccinelli that the anti-smoking law in Virginia does NOT include vaping. She contacted her state representative, who contacted the AG and asked for a legal opinion. She was even interviewed on television! You go, girl!

New Jersey is the only state that enacted a law banning vaping in locations where smoking is banned, and that bill was railroaded through the NJ legislature by Democrats in just several weeks (a year ago) without any hearings, and without any opposition from Republicans.

One of our goals is to ensure that NJ remains the only state.

I heard about this new law but, in the 18 months I've been vaping, I've yet to see a no-vaping sign in a public establishment and find that the vast majority of folks still don't know what the heck an e-cig is anyway! For me, though, I play it safe and stealth vape or go into the ladies room, if in a public place. I do this simply to avoid the drama;)

Bumping this thread to see if there is any interest

It’s RARE to hear any Good News and when we do
then there is really not much to discuss and of course
with Good News there is no need for a "Call to Action"

I suggest the opposite...There should be a "Call to Action"
and we should put some serious efforts into sending emails
and letters complimenting all that take a Pro E-cigarette position.

We will swarm all over those spreading lies and misinformation
and banning E-smoking...Shouldn’t we mount a positive email
campaign to support and congratulate those (like Iowa) which
take a positive E-smoking position?

Complimenting and supporting those on our side should be
part of our movement. It would give some balance to what
will continue to be an on-going fight with the opposition.

Maybe this is a SLIMSBID
(Seems Like It Makes Sense But It Doesn’t)

Your thoughts?
