Will you tell me if it is normal for this much juice to sit below the adjustment ring and the channels where the juice is fed through my ody

As you can see about half the juice sits below the channels where it gets fed up. I then have to tip it.

I have a strong feeling I have something put together wrong.

This is in small mode I think.

the metal body is thinner, and this explains the difference when you put the clear windows on.. it has to do with the nature of the materials, polycarbonate tubes cannot be cut this thin, cause they'd break..

as for the gaps inside, I think there is little difference between the clear and the SS body, liquid still reaches the wick due to pressure and laws of fluid mechanics.. it does become harder and harder though, when it reaches its crusial minimum level ;)
