Congrats! Now when I see smokers, I kinda feel sorry for them that they haven't discovered ecigs yet.

I've actually considered buying those disposable 510 sets to hand out.

I work in IT, and end up working on lots of projects, in teams, etc. People in IT tend to smoke. Between the stress involved and the mental agility required, nicotine is just an occupational hazard. But walking away for a trip to the smoking zone can take 10 minutes in itself these days, not counting time to smoke, and that really interrupts workflow when you're got multiple people on one job. We end up resenting each other for leaving, yet we end squabbling over who gets the next break.

I sometimes have daydreams of yet another coworker saying yet again, "#$%^&*!! I can't get my head around this. Mind if I go take a smoke break?" and responding by handing her/him a disposable PV and saying, "Here, check this thing out while you're out there - I'm gonna stay here and keep at it. *puffpuffgrin*"

Thank you all!!

I've managed to raise the awareness at my work place for vaping. It's a small shop, less than 20 people. No one and I mean no one had no idea about these things until I started vaping. The 4 remaining smokers are very interested and the non-smokers are just intrigued. No one can believe that I quit that easy.

It is amazing the looks on people's faces when they first see one of these things in action-priceless!

I hope it is that easy for my hubby and I. We decided to go with the Vapor King because we are both out of the house a lot and I spend and I spend 2.5 hours in the car just driving to work. Everyone has such wonderful things to say about v4l so I figured we would give it a go and hubby's co-workers have similar models from other vendors, he said that he liked it when he tried it at work the other week. Our kits will arrive tomorrow. To think I may have bought my last pack of analogs today...it almost sounds too good to be true!

I’m a Capricorn and tend to be a bit obsessive about things once I become interested. (That’s how we ended up with 6 IBM servers in our house!!)

Not trying to hijack your thread but I'm an IT guy too. What in the hell are you doing with 6 servers in your house? You got a fire suppression system and dedicated hvac too?

*END OF HIJACK* Congrats on kicking the analogs! Stealing a movie line - "these are great days we're living bro!" Welcome to e-cigs.

Hi everyone -
This is my first post and I'm glad to have found ECF. Alot of great information here. Just started vaping about a month ago and have only had 4 analogs which is a miracle for me! Now that I have found the nic strength I need, I don't have any more cravings for cigarettes. Used to smoke 2 packs a day for 23 yrs. Only problem I had was a dry, sore throat that lasted a few days. I just drink more water now, which is a good thing. I agree that the transition is easy. I know now I'll never go back to analogs and now working on converting my wife! Jeff

Glad you asked so I don't have to. I know I'm down a server now that I have a good NAS, but that takes me down to, um... two. And that's running a telephony system out of my house. So how about it, GB? Six? In use, or just six that happened to be up for grabs and now live in a closet?

How about a rack?

Got piX?

In case of offense:

Server/Relay rack like in my home/Avatar. Seeking Pictures. OSs used? I should have been more clear, my bad.

ROFLingMAO. Sorry to laugh at your blushes, but that was priceless.

## End mini-jack

HA HA! I smoked over 20 years and I have literally quit smoking HUNDREDS of times using EVERY method known to modern man...some that seemed more dangerous than the smoking (i.e. CHANTIX!).

You are right about that. My last unsuccessful attempt to quit was with Chantix and I had an incredibly bad experience. Talk about a mind-altering drug! And almost everyone I know who tried Chantix had some pretty serious reactions to it. Where the heck is the FDA on that stuff?

And congrats to the OP. My experience mirrors yours. So far, its been great!

Chantix made my stomach churn like I just downed about 2tsp of salt straight. It also made me dizzy, ALOT.

When I got it from my doctor, he didn't explain what I should do on it. I am a guy so I didn't read directions, and the pharmacist didn't explain it well either. I just kept taking it and after I told my doc that didn't work after taking it for 2 months, he told me the instructions. It was pricey.

These "Nic Inhalers" and self medicating with these is a hell of a better way, aside from the fact that I am self medicating.

As soon as my Diablo Loco comes in my TH craving will be satisfied and I can probably go back to doing like 6mg or less, and eventually 0mg! TH is my issue, I need it. If I almost choke, then I am satisfied... hehee

Yes, indeed, 4 IBM eServer xSeries 235’s, 2 IMB Intellistations, 2 IBM EXP 300 arrays and 1 Dell 220S array all in working order and humming away. All loaded with 73gig SCSI’s. A bit excessive, I agree but…. (I won’t even mention the 4 A31P’laptops or the 4 Thinkcentres or HP 818 Tape backup either). No fire suppression, but a lot of ventilation!

Guess that explains why I just ordered some Ego parts. 2 batteries, cone, charger, attys and tea bag cartridges from Cignot.

I am loving this!! And my wife (a non smoker) is loving it even more!
