It is simply two 32 gauge wires run parallel around the wick and separated to even out the heat. What it works out to is about the resistance of a twisted coil at 4 wraps, but the contact area of a single wire wrapped 8 times. Here is a terrible pic that you won't be able to make out a thing in:
Also, I've found with a partially crimped wick and the plug in I can vape without dry hits and lay it on its side without leaking. I have to use a reasonable voltage (still very satisfying), but I can also take out the plug when I want more heat and vapor. It still outperforms my evods with the plug in, though.
