You mention full catch cup. I hardly ever have any juice at all in my catch cup. I do have one atty that gives me problems. It is a bear to get to function good. I find I will usually over squonk it and get some juice in the cup. Then it gives me hits with low vapor. I will hold the REO in different positions to make the juice come up the tube more and take soft pulls. After a couple pulls I get a few good hits. Then only a small amount of vapor. I give it a little juice and same thing again! It is a pain to get that one atty to act right!

Just wanted to share this so you know it does happen. My other attys mostly Joye L.R. are not a problem at all and work quite easy.

The part of Canada that doesn't get enuf Snow :(
This is the part that gets me...Ive had people say Im running too dry before. The problem is I go from flooded, gurgly, spitting, full catch cup, low vapor hit to hot dry burnt hits in only a few pulls, with no real indication that it needs more juice, it just goes from one extreme to the other with barely any sweet spot.

When I can tell its at or near flooded, I take softer pulls trying to avoid spitting. Then next pull BAM burnt dry hit.
There is your problem. Karen caught it before I did. If your catch cup is full you are flooded. When flooded juice will stay on the atty for too long and end up getting a burnt taste. It has to keep moving to stay good. It's like it gets cooked too long. If you do a blind squonk you should never get juice in your catch cup. Mine stays dry all the time. And my atties typically last me 1-2 weeks before needing a clean.
