And it's probably junk science but for some reason it got published. I just read an article in the dailymail (which is enough to put one on notice that it's probably junk) that nicotine is linked with breast cancer. I'd link it but I don't have enough posts to be able to do that yet.
This will probably be used by the anti's as ammunition even though the scientists themselves state that it was a very small study (100 asian cancer patients). Usually studies like this look at at least 1000 people in at least 2 control groups, which this doesn't seem to do.
Of course, this being published in a tabloid and not say, Lancet, there's no real specifics on how their study was done beyond that at some point they injected cancer cells with nicotine and they grew. They also don't mention if they injected those cells with Coca Cola or any other "safe" product and got the same reaction from the cells.
You just know this is going to come up in anti-e cig legislation.
