Texticide!
My thought on that is, we don't need any regulation on that. Cars, yes, that involves other cars. This one is darwinism at work. That said, my sis (who is ADDICTED to social media) uses her Apple watch to reply to things when she *runs*. I don't know where she runs, I'm assuming that it's off road or something, but I once texted her and got a weird reply, followed by, "Sorry that was my apple watch."
My next text: "What is that, and if it's what I think it is, sis, you have taken this online all the time thing way too far." To be fair, she runs marathons, so I don't possibly think she could be apart from social media on one of her training runs, not since the last Christmas get together and I saw her and her husband and the way they used their phones, it was *awesome* but maybe not in so much a spectacular way.... I'm only 3 years older, but I seem to have escaped the madness.... I was on FB for awhile, until the ads started stalking me, that was a bit too much creepy for me..... Plus, all the insanity and stuff. That too.
