Prego, caro mio. Any time. ;)

:thumb:

I'm just going to leave those for now, @stols001 , as there are truly hundreds (at the very least). In addition to A Billion Lives, here are some names should you wish to do more self-induced research:

  • Prof. Peter Hayak (from the videos)
  • Dr. Konstantinos Farsalinos
  • Prof. Michael Siegel
  • Bill Godshall

I know I'm forgetting a bunch right now, but those should keep you busy for a short while. :)

You did well by joining CASAA as they'll lead you down some good pathways. Good luck with your pursuit of information, and more importantly, with your vape.

Thanks, DPLongo, I absolutely will do some research, I enjoy it! TY! I guess I was basing my thoughts on US reserach, I should really look further, eh?

Thanks :) And yes, still vaping. I'm scared to say I'm over the hump, so I won't say it. I WILL say I had no idea vaping would work this well for me, and I'm ecstatic, because I have tried *everything* I can with the exception of hypnosis (I am one of the few who can't be hypnotized, some dude came to demonstrate the technique and I for some reason I felt really bad about the idea of saying, "You know, this is doing nothing for me" and instead chose to play along. (Maybe that IS hypnosis, but it doesn't seem to be the model) and chantix, which no doctor of mine would allow me to take, so yes, I am utterly thrilled. I once decided to quit again and had everyone take all the cars and everything AWAY from the house, the nearest gas station was 3 miles away, I'm ashamed to admit that I stroller pushed my 3 year old all the way there, and smoked in the parking lot. So, I am thrilled, and I don't want to be misinformed :)

Once you find a favorite juice (not necessarily a limiting one), and your sweet-spot of power/temperature/whatever - it's a breeze. After a relatively short while you may not even be tempted (by smoke) any longer.

Stick in there, and experiment until you know you've arrived, and you WILL know it.

Did you smoke Camels?

One of the cool things about vaping is that I no longer have to go out to get get more smokes every 5 days or so, and I'm free of the anxiety I used to feel when I was down to my last pack.

I'm into my last 120ml of mixed juice right now, but I'm pretty chill about it, 'cause I have everything I need to mix more in stock, and can do so at any time.

You must be where cigarettes were cheap. Buying a whole carton at once for me would equal just a bit under one DNA mod.

I guess I can justify buying more mods after all.

God, what was I smoking back then? I think I might have bought a pack of Dunhills, but I was *rewarding* myself for the walk. :( I used to smoke basics in college, however, their slogan is: "The taste is incredible! Heavy metals!" and my roommate informed me that I would routinely *wake up* in the middle of the night to smoke. (I have no memory of doing this). Our room was the "smoking room" for our dorm, we had so many fun times in there, but when we pulled our posters down, we realized we had darkened our paint by at least 4 shades of yellowish in one year. I'm afraid that we kind of viewed it as an accomplishment, which IS one reason I'm glad kids are doing dumb stuff with e-cigs instead of cigarettes, to be fair. I was pretty dumb in my day :)

God, NY. It's barely less dreadful than CA, I think they're taxing air now. And they steal all our water, too. I have to admit, when CA was all "We're secceding from the Union," until they realized how many times the other states had bailed them out, and backed down, I was a bit like, "Let's keep them to their word, and discharge them."

"Instead we get a government that's less faithful to the constitution than any government since Abraham Lincoln."

Speaking of the GWB administration.

I LIKE this guy!!!!!

Thought you were Republican, Doc?

This guy's clearly Libertarian.

better yet:)

Jefferson was right (IMO). Orange jumpsuits for the lot of 'em, as far I'm concerned. And Jason Chaffetz can stick his "housing stipend"...:censored: (173k for working half to two-thirds of what WE do). Puh-LEASE! :grr:

Convention of States

I'm sorry - :offtopic: again, me.

I'll reprimand myself immediately.

There are two obvious misses in the list

Brad Rodu
Carl Phillips

They both have blogs and are must reads for anyone interested in the science of tobacco harm reduction.
