I found an old thread on tips and tricks etc. and Bonniegirl stated that she uses salt in her juices when she needs a little something extra to round out the flavor. She said you can get NaCl at pharmacies and medical supply stores so off I went in a dead heat to my local pharmacy and was met with puzzled faces when I asked for it. At least I didn't get another trip to the suppository isle like when I was searching for VG. lol They didn't have it so I opted for the second choice, pure sea salt w/no additives. I decided to mix it 1/4 tsp. to a 30 ml bottle of PG. I figured salt would dissolve easily but not so. I have heated the PG and shook the crap out of it but it is still settling in the bottom. I wonder if PG will only absorb a certain amount of salt crystals???? Has anyone else tried this? I finally poured the mixture into another bottle, leaving the undissolved crystals behind. The mix definitely tastes salty. I'm beginning to wonder if there are some grains of sand in this bottle of sea salt! There is something missing in most of my mixes and by golly I'm going to figure out what it is, even if people start hiding behind the counters when I head for the pharmacy area.
