I just dropped my mini on the kitchen floor and now the battery seems to "rattle" and it is completley dead! I have dropped it before off a table with no probems, how can this happen to me??

I tried putting a fresh battery in it and nothing, the button doesn't light up, can't get the menu to come up...it's DOA!

I am now in an absolute panic since I have no back up provari (I have a few ego's but that only for emergency back ups!)

I have contacted provape and am sure they will take care of it (it's only 3 months old),but I am going on vacation in 3 days and don't know what to do. Anyone know of a vape shop that sells provaris near cincinnati? I cannot wait for one to be shipped from provape.

I cannot believe this!

If you haven't already, I would suggest taking the battery cap off and and stretching the spring out a little bit. It may have just compressed the spring a little from the drop and isn't making good contact now.

I dropped my $90 multimeter the other day and from the weight of the battery being dropped it compressed the contacts just a tiny bit. Enough that it wouldn't turn on. Pried the contact spring back just a little and now it works fine.

Hope this is the salution to your problem, as it's a real easy fix.

I blame the floor. Wouldn't happen to be some kind of tile? I tried to talk my Sis out of installing ceramic tile. She has broken more dishes & other things hitting that floor in six months since it was installed than ever broke in the 20 years she owned that house. The flooring wins every time.

Don't even get me started on marble countertops, the untimely demise of many a wine glass..

I can see yzer licking his lips over this potential ProVari failure......Oh...Just a stuck spring. Better luck next time.
Most other mods, the response would have been "throw it in the trash." Instead, the first response is unstick the spring, and the next three responses are people complaining about hard floors and counters. Gotta love the ProVari. :D
