So i have a volcano and i ordered the 510 atty. At first it is fine but now that 3 out of the 5 are not hitting right and the forth one is hitting fine but i have this taste of water. It is making my spit bubble up like hydrogen peroxide and that is kinda what it tastes like. My BF's Atty is hitting fine but mine is definately more wet and there is condinsation build up when i take off the cartridge. I went back to the volcano atty and I will take that vaper over the 510's. I love the vaper production from the 510 but hate the watery overtone. What am i doing wrong?

Sounds like you are using prefilled cartridges, otherwise I'd say you were overfilling.
I think you may be drawing too hard, pulling liquid up into the upper part of the cartridge. Also, don't tilt an eCig with a cartridge on it upwards at all, that can also cause fluid to run down into the upper cartridge.
This would also put eliquid all over the exposed surfaces of your cart when you take it off, and that would look like condensation.
Theres almost no water in eliquid.
Also, take off the atty from the battery and cart and blow out your atty from the battery end into a paper towel, which will blow excess fluid out of it. If you get too much fluid in the atty (is that what you mean by "watery"?), it "floods" it and it won't produce vapor well. Then it gets that gurgly sound sometimes, and spits up wet eliquid, which can feel strange on your tongue (rinse out your mouth with water).
That may be another thing that is going on for you.
Not familiar with the "volcano" atty, just the 510. Hope this helps!

Well this is my update. After being in near tears of not enjoying my vaping experience i was thinking a regular cigarette would taste better than this. I still held on. My boyfriend who is the best did a ton of research and found that the wick in the atty was burning. He took out all the burnt wicks and dry vaped until there was nothing coming out. Dropped liquid on the atty and did it again and again. Poor guy couldn't walk after he was done but finally the taste and the watery feeling went away. I also noticed a coating on my tongue meaning i wasn't going crazy. My spit was bubbling like I had gargled with Hydrogen Peroxide. There was definite water build up and not from over filling. I had liquid from TW so not prefilled carts. I don't hit it very hard to begin with and very rarely does the atty get warm let alone hot. But removing the wick and dry vaping until there was nothing did the trick. I am back on my happy vaping ways. I didnt want my sense of taste back if that was going to be the result. No headaches today and feeling like 100 bucks. Not sure what the watery taste was but the wick had a definate burnt look to it. Remove those wicks so you wont cry like i did. I enjoyed the clean vaping a new moon last night and am very happy today.

Your boyfriend did a bunch of research and came to the conclusion to remove the wicks?

Hey, I'm glad it worked for you.
But you may find yourself wanting some new atomizers soon.

Indeed. I've had some issues with the black TW 510 attys. Some have wicks like overgrown bushes. Makes the attys almost clogged all the time. I pulled the wicks out of one, and it vaped like there was no tomorrow...for about ten minutes, then died, cold. The same thing may happen here. Seems the bottoms of the wicks are somehow tangled with the leads to the battery. Complete electrical failure after pulling the wicks out. The OP mentioned TW, so maybe the attys are the same. OTOH, the black TW atty I'm using today, and for a few days, is great! No overgrown wicks!

Yeah it is the tw attys but so far so good no dead attys and no bad taste. The wicks were touching the metel bridge in there and going in between and coming out the other side. But all the wicks were burnt badly. We will order more but I can't handle that taste now I want to do the blue blug mod as the poly fill keeps on sticking to the atty.

It sounds like your original problem was flooding; removal of the wicks may not have been the best option. I had two new attys which weren't hitting well at all... realized I was just dripping way too much liquid on them. Blew them out, added one drop each, worked fine.

In the future, you may want to measure the resistance of your atomizers before use; this will let you know if any are DOA and may help with troubleshooting.
