The video has a music track with a song called Ancient Rain. The singer is an Irish woman called Mary Coughlan and she has a very distinctive voice that keeps her accent.
The tone of the music is sultry and very slightly sinister, it's jazzy and slow.
I looked for the lyrics but couldn't find them, this isn't a well known singer or song.
It's about All Saint's Day (the day after Haloween). "Last night I danced and merry made, under the moon madness played." Then she describes dancing and listening to music with witches and fiddler. Then she went home with somebody ...
Next day they left and she had a hangover. She drank some hot whisky. "Ancient rain, pouring down, w... my bones to the ground".
Then there's something about demons "demons talked of pagan times, the past and present now in rhyme, two hands that squeezed my life away, on this the holy All Saint's Day".
That's the best I can do Bryn, I can't understand some of it myself, I have trouble making out some of the words.
