This one's a simple request, only one condition :)

Hi all,

So after much searching and talking with ECF members, I've narrowed my new PV purchase to either the BB (or SB, whatever) or the GLV2. Now, I've taken some flak for putting conditions on my review requests, but I think the following is reasonable: I'd like to hear only from people who have tried the GLV-2 (6V) AND the BB (or SB, whatever) regarding which one they like the best. For the love of God don't ask me what I want from a PV. Just answer according to your taste. That's what I'm interested in. For those who 'qualify' to answer, imagine you had to forego ever using the GLV-2 or the BB (or SB, whatever ;)), which one would you KEEP.

Thank you so much in advance for your time, most of you are great :)

While I don't have the GLV (even with the great reviews, it just looks too oddly shaped for my comfort and ease) I'm going to answer your question anyway.

I've bought and sold many mods on the classys here. Only been 'possibly taken' once.. a mod arrived in less than pristine condition, and I didn't discover this until I tried to sell it. HOWEVER.. the maker of said mod (even though I didn't purchase it from him.. fixed it for practically free. I paid for one teeny replacement part. And that was more of an upgrade. All other parts and the labor was free!! Now if that isn't service.. I don't know what is.. !!)

On to the mods. I have tried many different styles, volts, makers, fittings, etc. And read a great many review.
To be completely honest... they aren't all that different. I find that 'ease of use' has become my top priority.. my hands must be able to comfortably use the mod. after that is weight, fittings, shape.. and lastly.. 'cool attachements' and volts. now of course YMMV.. and all that.. but my suggestion: If you are looking for a mod: find one you can afford first. Better to buy a decent mod for a good price.. than to try and find an expensive model for a steal (you may end up with less than stellar performance).. so the great price then becomes somewhat moot.
Find one you can afford NOW.. and save up for that "super duper" model after you've tried a few, and know more what you may like.. you might find that your needs and wants change! Mine are constantly changing. What would have suited me 3 months ago.. is not the same now.

Best of luck to you!!
(and don't forget to check the good feedback and bad feedback threads. those will tell you more about someone's honesty)

I would keep the SB. It has a PT option. It has 6 volt option. It has DBL barrel option. It has a fantastic button. It has more power at 3.7 than my eGo for those umph vapes.

I would keep the GLV 2, plus pick up a Mini GLV, plus stalk the GLV 3 thread for their JB release. I would get one in every color in every size. Pink, Yellow, Purple, Black, Blue. The GLV has a fantastic button too.

The button comfort is something that only YOU can decide.

I don't have a GLV, but I stalk them often enough, so it's LIKE I own one or more lol.

Good luck and I hope you do end up with both. (actually, all 7)

Well said, needs and wants to do change. I can't wait for my VV. I am too limited w/3.7 and 6v w/all my attys. Still need other voltages
