i believe i got fairly lucky with the vendor i started with and have sampled nearly all their line. i thought i had a couple losers but when they aged turned out pretty good. my dilemma was my nic level. this vendor offers 24, 18, 9,and 0mg. they suggested 18mg to start and by the second day i got nicked out. that was my first full day of vaping only. i ordered online some 9mg that day. caught the black friday discount still going on sunday night and ordered more flavors,5pack of clearomizers and coils. five days for vape mail and my 9mg arrives. immediately i vaped more. i felt i needed 12mg to be satisfied at the rate i was going. as i got into building coils, using cotton and getting better vtf i bought more flavors, t3s, protanks, kayfuns, atomizers, and rda for sub ohm testing. i now have a rack of 35 flavors. each has its own t3s labeled. if i got tired of one, i'd try something else. just screw it on. its a nice display and frankly i am bored with it. i mixed them together to adjust nic level until i found my ideal build. happens to be with 30ga. and i can vape 9mg happily now. in my whole experience, i was nicked the second day and 4 1/2 mos later using 9mg subohm. lightbulb went off. my original builds were with 32ga and while improved i was still adjusting nic up a touch. now i know where i'm happy but i want more flavors. i tried other vendors and didn't find anything that was any better than what i have. hence DIY! i've got six tanks to feed and the t3s are sitting in the closet. i still use them on the go with an ego. made some rootbeer and cherry coke 10mg yesterday and without aging are pretty good. i used a dripping atomizer to sample flavor strength and settled on 15% flavor. i have them competing in kayfuns tonight. decided to get serious about diy and ordered everything i need to make larger batches accurately. i already have quarts of pg/vg and 200ml of base. also want to be safe and bought a titration kit. good luck on that flavor thing!
