Good morning everyone!
What a busy week! Maddie got sick and had to miss Thursday and Friday. Took her to the doctors yesterday. Antibiotic and strong cough/decongestant ordered. Welcome back to the breeding ground of GERMS...aka School!!! Blah.
Work is going very well, I got a raise!!! (and more responsibilities) It's all good.
Today is cleaning/laundry day and I have to run a few errands later. Other than that I am staying in the AC.....still hot and humid here.

Thunderstorms to roll through here later on and a welcoming cool front with it. Dang it's sticky out there.Bov I wanted to tell you that your flowers are just gorgeous this year!!!! I loved seeing pics of them. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Tracy! Katie and I both have enjoyed them this year. And yes, not looking forward to the storms, but the cooler weather is mighty welcome on the other side of this front!

Thanks Fran, I really do love it!!! They just moved to PA and want to move the lab nearer to me as well, so that'll be a plus...especially in the winter time.
It should. Right now it's a bit of a haul for me, and on some back roads which will be pretty treacherous in snow. The PA move should be better, depending on the location. The one in mind is mostly highway to and from.

We're supposed to get a round of rain about midnight Tracy, not sure when it'll hit you. I don't think we'll see the clearing and cooler weather until morning.
All storm warnings are gone here. We had them south of us and east of us but we didn't even get a drop of rain. We have cooled down though.
A nurse friend on FB posted a link about pineapple juice being the best thing possible for a cough....contains some magical anti cough chemical...Link said it was better than most prescription syrups...Hope Maddie feels better soon and congrats on the raise....
Hot????? Damn straight I been sweating that azz off all week...Cool front approaching here as well...Not sure when it arrives...
After all those parts I threw on the Ranger the dang thing fired right up and shifted through all the gears flawlessly....I was stoked.....was....I started it and ran it a good 5 times and all was wonderful...The auto sent the computer a signal allowing the shift into 4X4...Instructions were too ground a red and white wire....Well being there was a reddish and white wire in the transmission harness I grounded that....Pretty sure a new shift module will be needed.....then.....All was still going well and I decided to start it up again....click....click....OK maybe the battery ground was loose as I just had it on and not tight....I wrenched it down and clck....click....Checking it I saw smoke billowing.....The brand new starter shorted internally....I set a new world record unbolting the ground cable...It melted the wire and that was a beeach to repair....New starter from the Car Quest and she's running fine again....We ran a computer diagnosis of the original starter at CQ...brand new and not rebuilt but still a dud with a dead short...Good thing I was right there as a burning truck in the shop probably wouldn't work so good for me....Rock Auto is getting ready to hear from me....Heck I might ask J5 too beech 'em out as well...Now if I can get that truck to shift into 4X4 I will be a happy camper....
Bov I'd no idea you were the victim of abuse....That makes me both sad and mad....Seems it's all too often bad things happen too good people...

We didn't get any rough storms here, and very little rain. I think thee must be a dome over Manchester that only let's winter snow and ice get through! But it's a beautiful, cool morning.
