What they're doing is anybody's guess......bet your azz big tobacco is pressuring them....RJR pushed NC to pass a 5 cent per Ml tax and anyone selling anything e-cig related in NC must be a registered tobacco wholesaler...RJR entered the market with the Vuse and wanted competition crippled...I would expect something along the same line nationally...Word I hear is any mod other than the little ones we all started with will become illegal...

Speaking of illegal.....Just how the hell does a major corporation or a group of rich guys throw money at politicians to get laws written for their benefit???????????????? IMO anyone bribing or accepting bribes should be shot at sunrise...It's high treason but legal.....

Here you go from a former K Street lobbyist we need to change the campaign finance laws its the mother of all ills in D.C. fix finance and lobbying and everything else falls into place. Because now politicians and agency's are unduly swayed by the money contributed to elections or the promise of a future lucrative job.

Here's more videos on the topic in a thread I started in the Outside :) http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/outside/568738-common-enemy.html

CL I believe MFS is outta Charlotte.....not far from the SC border..Your speculation is likely correct....

Just read this....Smoking/tobacco products were banned in the NC Prison System and county jails in 2010....We had a different Governer then....Today the legislature brought fourth a bill that allows prisons and jails too sell e-cigs....Now get this new name in the game.....RJR Vapor....RJR just happens to make a plastic e-cig that can't be easily turned into a weapon....Guess the only brand approved for sale....The corruption sickens me....as does Citizens United!!!!!!!!!

Our inept president is a perfect example of that. He shows you don't even have to know anything about governing to get elected. All it takes is money and lies.

I'm afraid it's less the President 5er and more just about every member of congress.

Moon I heard Lessig on talk radio during the '12 elections. I've alway been apposed to public financing of elections but I think his solutions make the most sense. An elected official would only be beholden to any individual up to $150..... No corporate $$$, No union $$$

I've said for 25 years, as long as we can buy congress.... we're Effed !!!
