vaping scene wise, almost no chance that it'll be legalized but at least let us carry on underground.

PVs can be bought by juices.
HiShAm secretly controls the market in the dark.
vaping is now exclusive to the rich and powerful.
Can't wait for Tax Armageddon and all the new regulations to take effect. Looking forward to Xmas though, Santa is supposed to purchase me a Reo Grand.

Forget legal vaping, I would prefer if they stop harassing us and our in-bound packages. Just let us vape in peace and privacy.
Totally agree! Since u dun allow us to VAPE i public.. At least the least u can do is allow us to vape privately n comfortably!
And give up $900+ million of tax money? They'll have to build another casino
the 900+mil is only 2% of SG's total tax collections. it's the fallout from legalisation.

For me, it's not so much the way we're being persecuted, but the way vaping is being dismissed out of hand.

For me, vaping has changed my life.
As a decade-and-more smoker, vaping has literally broken the chains for me.
To dismiss this and to persecute this makes me feel like the government has absolutely no concern for it's people.
In 2013, I'd like to see decent unbiased research into vaping and some show of concern from an otherwise uncaring and money-minded government.

In reality, the number of vapers plus those interested in vaping here are still not big enough to make a difference. No pressure means nothing to push the govt to change policy. Waiting for some powerhouse to 'care' for us and do in depth research for our benefit is like waiting to strike lottery.

I like your idea there, but the thing is...once thier yearly tax is affected, then you would see big brither doing something about it...when it comes to Foreigners they close one eye, when its about their $$$ I am sure they will open out three eyes out ..thats why SDPC are printed in analogs cause there is an increase in the buying of contraband and their tax was affected..to them eve $0.01 still counts!
Tobacco tax accounted for 2% of total tax income for 2011 with majority coming from income tax, gst bla bla bla. So IMO loss of tobacco tax is not detrimental.
It's the loss of income from big pharma when they sell lesser drug and equipment if people stop falling sick. sweden is a living example with Snus and big pharma is desperate to stop this from happening in other parts of the world.
Also less ppl fall sick = less medication = less hospitalisation = less medi-whatever withdrawal = less reason to eat your CXF = more time to think.
some government dun like their ppl to think.
So what's gonna be the thing that forces the governing body to act on this?

I don't see any factors that will reverse the govt's decision on this. Bear in mind that Snus has a quarter of a century of scientific and clinical studies in Sweden and Europe but SG has not allowed its sales. This itself says a lot about the decision making process.
I won't go into what conspiracy theorists say about pharmas here
