Couple little pointers to mention off the build. First off, Kudos for going right into the deep end and doing quads first. Most people take it really slow, I like your style of jump in and make it work LOL. When you're wrapping your
coils, make sure you maintain tension the entire time on the wire as you wrap around your mandrel. I can see a few of the end wraps lifted a bit, you want to almost over bend the legs a bit to make sure they stay nice and flat. Pulling on one leg with toothless pliers while holding the coil in place on the mandrel also helps to resolve that.
As EvlSmrk said, watch your alignment, you want horizontal
coils to be a little more straight than what you have right now. Also make sure to trim the excess leads coming out of the posts. I can see there is some extra wire running out, and this can potentially cause shorts which we do not want to happen.
Overall, for a first coil build, and jumping right into it with quads, its definitely not bad, and if it vapes nice then even better. Just remember to not get frustrated with yourself when it comes to coil building. I have been at this now for several months, and I am still finding little tips and tricks to make each build cleaner than the last. Its all about practice and learning. Theres plenty of people here who will help guide you along this journey!
