Thoughts on 510 cartos?

I am thinking about trying the 510 cartos but wanted to see what life expectancy would be in comparison to regular atty's?

Any other thoughts, reviews or comments on them would be greatly appreciated!

I love my regular 510 atty's but would like to broaden my horizons. Should I try the 510 cartos?

I got some in a week ago and am still using the first one. I use about 2 - 3ml of liquid a day so about 2 - 3 complete fills of a carto a day. In other words, this single carto has been filled about 12 - 15 times and is still going strong! I have heard of another individual here at ECF who got over a month on a single carto. On the flip side, they can break or burn out just as easily as a regular atty, but when you consider you get 5 cartos for the price of 1 atty its not bad at all. I would advise against the mega 510 cartos if you are using a standard 3.1 - 3.7 device though as they have a high resistance. Regular 510 cartos, like those from LitecigUSA (apologies for the shameless plug), will serve you best. I find they function better on a mod using a 14500 battery than they do in a standard battery, but even on standard batts they are nice!

Long story, short... they are worth a try!

Ya, definitely give them a try. I use attys & cartos, just depends on what I'm in the mood for. Some of my flavors come out better in the cartos and sometimes I get better hits on the cartos. And they are handy while driving.

I've refilled them several times. I think I have about 20 and I've only thrown one away so far.

I love mine. I have used them 3 weeks now and the only one I had to trash was due to "user error". I do have some that work better than others though right out of the box. That may be a function of different juices though.

I am a dripper, tried cartos before and never liked the flavor. tried the 510 cartos and it was the same, the prefilled carts all have this strange flavor, like plasticky.. stuff from the filler material leeching into the juice or something.

I'm also mildly concerned about the pictures and reports of melted cartomizer filler material floating around the forum

also I dislike the plastic mouthpieces with paper stickers on them. it doesn't feel nearly as nice to use as a stainless steel t tip
