I have a 901b and was toying with the idea of ordering a penstyle starter kit instead of another 901b starter kit. I like the idea of larger carts and larger battery. Seems to me the pen style from puresmoker might be more satisfying in general than the mini ecig. I built a USB powered adapter for my mini, so if the threads on the mini battery are the same as the threads on the penstyle then my USB adapter will work with either the penstyle or the mini. If anyone knows for sure if the batteries are interchangeable please let me know!

Also, does anything think the puresmoker pen style is better than the 901? Would be nice to have larger battery and cartridges

:D

nope , pen style batts are a larger thread.non-compatible i'm afraid.
I wouldn't say a pen style is 'better' than a mini, they both have pro's and con's but a classic is a good e-cig to get if you already have the 901.

I use my 901 when i'm out and about because it has a nice form factor, reasonable battery run times and cart size is better than a supermini.
I use my pens at home, they get the most use, great battery life , big carts , what more could u ask..

To be honest Bastage there isnt alot between them as far as delivery and vapour are concerned.
that's more an e-liquid choice rather than a hardware one.

if you wanna a big hit i'd go for a 36mg juice, if your UK try Totally Wicked E Liquid
I don't know who stocks what in the US i'm afraid . PureSmoker.com - Your #1 Source For ECigs, Parts, & Accessories! may do 36mg but not sure. I know johnson creek smoke juice goes up to 24mg.

I started with 901's. Have since moved onto penstyles and have to say I'd go with them anyday. I bought a generic cheap ebay pen - it was good for a week then needed cleaning & it's been a bit slow since. I also have the matt black mydnite - it's streaks ahead of my 901 imo. I have had mine over 3 weeks, the atomiser is still going strong (have'nt even cleaned it yet) , batts are performing well. It outperforms my 901's on vapour. I have'nt used my 901's since I got it. Just my take on it...somewhere there is a thread about it - seems I am not the only happy user.:thumb:

I got mine from e-cigs but I think puresmoker might stock them in the USA.
