I seem to be having (or finally noticing) quit often, little stuffing threads showing up on the heating coil of my penstyle 801. Unfortunately I usually notice when I start to get a burning sensation in my throat. It's pretty tough to get down there to pick them out.
The cart's topped up and a couple drops to prime it doesn't seem to make a difference. Does anyone have any tips on how to prevent this from happening?

As Pete suggested--the tea bags are great compared to the polyerster core--so get rid of the polyester and give the tea bags a go---Sun

I've tried teabags and coffee filters. Both of those get pulled out of the cart when I take off the mouthpiece because they get caught on the mesh of the atomizer wicking bridge.

I'm using a joye306a:

One question, do you think cigarette filters (clean of course) would work as a good filler? My local smoke shop has a bag of just filters, unpapered, for like $3. What do you think?

-Jim
I haven't heard of anyone finding that filters work nicely Jim. Btw, until you get the chance to try teabags, what can also help with your current filler is
a. keep it wet
b. don't let it stick out too far
c. if there are any loose threads coming out, trim those away with some sharp scissors.

Good luck on finding a good solution for you. :)

hope this helps, ... take teabag out,cut off string and staple, empty out tea, unfold it so it becomes 1 flat single ply of paper. I then roll it around the inner cartridge of a bic pen(like a carpet roll).Next, cut it into sections long enough to fill the whole cart. Insert into cart, fill until very moist(no pooling).Than enjoy. It's easy ,and you'll get good at it after a few tries.Sorry I can't do a vid.,;)

Well, I'm trying the coffee filter idea.. and it seems, I've gotten it right!!!! :p Anyway, it appears to be fitting nicely around the atomizer and providing it with the liquid it needs to not overheat. Best of all, it's not coming out when I draw from it! They should have thought of that a long time ago in my opinion!

Thanks guys!
