So I have decided at my three month mark of being smoke free, I will upgrade to a vv/vw mod. I have been watching youtube vids and reading as many reviews as I can find. So far my top two choices are the iTaste SVD and Vamo v5. How do these compare to the Tesla's, the Sigeli's and the Magneto's?

Im also worried that as soon as I get something, the new and improved version will be out a week later. Do you guys think there will be new and better gear within the next three months?

Opinions greatly appreciated!

Once you find a mod you really like and enjoy, it won't matter if a new and improved comes out, cuz you LIKE what you have.

You have to start somewhere, otherwise, you will never pull the trigger.

Been in that situation with being offered 2 jobs at same time.....just gotta decide and take one, it is always a bit of a risk, but i think happiness is all about being content with what you have/got.

At least, for a while. :)

Can't advise you about those 3, but good luck on whatever one you choose! Congats on 3 mos. smoke FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seems you are comparing VV/VW mod to mechanical mod. They are very different devices.

In my personal opinion, I think there will be more changes in VV/VW devices over mechanical mods.

VV/VW mod use chip that regulate power of battery. This is very depending on what chip they use. New thing in VV/VW mod is DNA 20 which goes up to 20W when most of other VV/VW mod usually goes up to 15W. Also, DNA 20 chip can fire lower ohm atty. So Vamo 5 or SVD will not fire sub ohm coils.

For mechanical mod, I don't think you will see major changes here. It's all about conductivity and switch design. It's glorified battery holder:blush: Some are nicer and better design... Mechanical mod can fire sub ohm coils but it's important that you choose right battery for safety reason.

IMHO, best vape is very dependent on which atty(ohm) you use or build.

Personally(just my opinion), it's best to go with VV/VW device Vamo 5 or SVD(both great choice) and work with higher resistance coils.

When you get comfortable, it's good time to move into mechanical mods. My case, I have VV/VW device and few mechanical mods. I play around with higher resistance coil and sub ohm coils. All has it's pro and con.

I wouldn't personally worry about if there is going to be better gear in next three month because yes there will be better mods in 3 month(However I don't think there is going to be major changes in mods). It's just how it is... Get what you like and enjoy you new mod.

BTW, GJ being smoking free for three month!! Keep going!
