    Hello everyone!
So I was browsing my usual online vapor vendor a few days ago, and a stumbled across something interesting. Replacement Coil Heads, made by Kanger, for the the tanks made after the Aerotank. Several different ohms, nothing special. But then my eye caught something, and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Official Kanger SUB-OHM coils, no modification, straight from the factory. I snatched up a few 0.8ohm coils for my Aerotank 2.0, as well as a few other things, Two-Day FedEx'd that crap and I received them yesterday.

I popped a 0.8ohm coil head into my ol' Aerotank, filled it up with some 90/10 VG e-juice, let it prime up real nice, and started to take some pulls. Why isn't the internet going crazy over these things?! I'm getting more vapor off of my AEROTANK, than I am in my Nimbus RDA. Think about that sentence.

So I wanted to know if anyone else has had the pleasure of trying these official sub-ohm coils, and also to spread the word that these are now here and they are amazing.

    Thanks everyone!

Also, I think most perfer to build their own sub ohm builds. It's a heck of a lot cheaper to build them yourself. However, if someone isn't building their own coils, and are buying them, then this is a EXCELLENT option EXCEPT one problem, most standard devices that people start out with won't run sub ohm coils..and most people that buy their coils use these types of devices.. the folks that have devices that will run a sub ohm coil are likely already making their own coils so that kinda limits the market. I think most common devices will run as low as 1.0 anything below that, they won't run. But for those who do have devices that will sub ohm and don't make their own coils, then this would be great.

I think this is actually a significant precedent. I would imagine that there are a fair few folks who are subohm-curious but have not taken the rebuilding plunge.

These, coupled with, say, a DNA 30 device would be a formidable setup - one that would capture those looking to get more extreme but not ready (yet) for a full blown RDA. All the clouds (and presumedly flavour) of subohming without having to really learn Ohm's Law, twisting coils, and wicking? I know 5 guys at work who would jump at this.

Alternatively, I wouldn't mind having a mod & tank with these coils in it as a failsafe backup to my reo, should the unthinkable happen - sounds like they would be much less of a step down than a nautilus.

I love rebuilding coils on my RDAs and all that, but with the arthritis in my fingers, having the option to just go to my local vape shop and buy a well made sub-ohm coil from a highly established company, it's a godsend. And I agree, this is certainly an important milestone in vaping as a whole, and I have several friends who don't know the first hing about rebuildables and Ohm's law, but would love to be able to just pop in a premade coil and produce an impressive amount of vapor.

I really commend Kangertech for taking the first steps into more complex areas of vaping, instead of developing another beginners tank, however important that may be.

Waiting for the complaints of low budget eGo class batteries going dead in short order - and worse - that aren't designed to work with a 0.8 ohm coil. Those batteries inside eGo class stuff are not sub ohm batteries. They're ICR chemistry and we all know what can happen there when you start stressing ICR chemistry batts.

I was looking at these last night. I'm a clearo user who does not enjoy rebuilding coils. I do rebuild my Kanger single coil heads, but IMO ya kinda have to to get a decent vape on a clearo; so the idea of getting a sub ohm vaping experience from a pre-built clearo head really caught my interest. But I'm not very knowledgeable about Ohm's law when it comes to sub ohm vaping and the thought of me trying to run these in a mini Aero on my vv v3s that have a max output of 11 watts makes me leery. I have read that the vv v3s will recognize a 0.8 build but I think I'll give them a pass just the same, at least until I get a more powerful mod.

This. Just because a coil is factory built doesn't make it safer. One really does need to know ohms law and the capability of one's battery if going sub ohm. I'm afraid that some will think these coils are perfectly safe to use on any device just because they are factory built.
