mick37......Nicotine level does influence the throat hit somewhat but not completly. PG also adds to the throat hit, while VG improves overall vapor production. Most flavored e-liquids do not provide a throat hit at all with me regaurdless of the nicotine level.Menthol on the other hand delivers from 36mg on down. Tobacco Absolute,Grain alcohol and Menthol Liquid(or crystals)mixed with PG/VG will hit you as well as any e-liquid with nic! Menthol may also improve the hit on any other liquids you may have now that are lacking!

Hope this helps!

Other factors influencing TH are atomizer model, atomizer resistance, battery voltage ... and each person's biochemistry and subjective impression.

As for that last pair of factors: For example, as I've written elsewhere, I get little TH from the 510 atomizer, but most people do. Tobacco flavors provide me greater TH than fruity flavors.

It's analogous to spiciness: my wife can't stand anything the least bit spicy; I like something with a tang to it, e.g., medium hot buffalo wings and Szechuan food; some people adore hot or ultra hot food.
