I've been having a bit of trouble with the throat hit on my iclear30. More often than not I get what I can only describe as a sharp, tingly throat hit. I prefer the thump type feeling when it hits the back. Sometimes I get this, most times I dont. It happens on both my iclears, and have since given up on my protanks. Anybody got any ideas on how to remedy this, or is this an unreasonable request?

So, are you saying the pro tanks did it too? What voltage and resistance are you vaping at? Also do you know the pg/vg ratio of your juice?
My protanks did it on occasion but they leak everywhere, so I dont use them. I said that to say my iclears are my option for tanks (should have elaborated more, sorry). I'm vaping at 7watts on an MVP2 and my iclears read at 2.0 ohms.
That's weird to me. I have an MVP 2. I run it at 7 watts as well. I am using 50/50 18mg in both my pro tank or iClear 30, with no issues. Only reason I prefer the pro tank is the iClear seemed to use juice a lot faster, and my pro tanks haven't had leaking issues.

If you're not getting any over-nic symptoms you could try a juice at 24 MG in the iclear. That will give you more TH, but I'm not sure if it will feel right for you. Trying it is probably the only way to find out.
Dry hits may also give the sharp hit you describe, even if the vape doesn't taste burnt or horrid.
Try giving the iclears a couple of pulls/sucks first before firing. See if it solves or lessens the problem. If it does, then you've found the cause.

You could also try upping the PG since that will give you a stronger throat hit as well.
