Hi again....

Just curious if anybody has figured out a way to increase the level of throat hit when using a low level nic. I am on 3mg nic liquid and long gone are the throat hit days of the 36mg liquid I started with.

I have purchased a few RBAs and was hoping that there might have been a way to manipulate this a bit given the customizable nature of the devices. Or if there are any additives that can be used in the e-liquid to increase throat hit levels.

Anyway, I would appreciate anybody's thoughts on the matter.

elwood2,

I have a Vamo and a Telsa which, as you know, are VV devices. When I ramp up the voltage, it can help but soon becomes a harsh burning rather than a nice throat hit.

Have been using Vivi Nova almost exclusively and have recently purchase an RBA and I was thinking this "new" technology may offer some customization possibilities as it relates to achieving more throat hit.

It's my understanding that an RBA will allow you to customize your vape to a large degree. I've got an IGO-L on the way so I've been doing some reading. It seems for max vapor you put the airhole directly over the coil. TH increases as you move the airhole away from the coil. This is what I've read anyways.

I tried to drop from 6mg juice to 0mg juice thinking it would suffice. It had no TH, which really dulled the whole vaping experience. I think that I didn't understand the concept of TH until it was gone. I'm going to get some 6mg and mix it with the 0mg to get 3mg. That with an IGO-L should (I hope) allow for a better low nic vape.

Hi islandman. I have been vaping zero nic for a while now. I tried a few things to increase TH, but nothing really does it the same as nicotine. I like menthol and mint and enough of that can sorta help. I tried a hot pepper flavoring and that also helped a bit. There are a few products advertised as TH enhancers out there. I would check out Sugar_and_Spice's lead.

I'm currently using a AGA-T RBA. What I have found is that lowering coil resistance by using thicker wire helps up the power to the coil giving a hotter vape with more vapor. More vapor within reason gives the opportunity to get more flavor. Turning the top cap of the RBA so the air hole is off the coil noticably increases TH and lowers flavor and vapor production.

Putting all this together will get you the most TH you can get from low nic juice. I got used to no TH over time. We are very adaptable. For me it's all about the flavor now.
