Throat Hit

I understand that by increasing the MG level of nicotine that the throat hit will increase, but is there any way to increase the throat hit without increasing the MG level. Some flavors are just smoother than others. Is there a way to take those smoother flavors and increase the harshness of the throat hit to something more my liking.

Maybe someone knows a trick or can post me to a post that will explain how I can do this.

I've asked the same question. I found after letting my juice age a bit the throat hit gets better,but not a whole lot.
There is a new product from FA call Qhit,that I plan on trying,once a US supplier has it in stock

More PG = more throat hit VG= less throat hit and more vapor. There are also other ways to get more of a throat hit. Pepper extract is one. Adding PGA is another. If your mixing tobacco adding some Tobacco Absolute Blond (Nicotiana Tabacum) will help. But the general rule is adding more PG to your mix to give more of a throat hit.

I like TV atomic cinnacide, but I don't want all my juices to taste like cinnamon.

I would suggest that, if possible, you switch to a LR - low resistance - atty, which burns hotter and increase TH and vapor. But, you will also need hardware that has larger batteries, like the eGO, because the LR attys draw more power....

I've attempted to work this from both angles. Up TH and reduce TH.

PG and VG only go so far. Going 100% PG helps up it some just as going 100% VG will help it go down. But neither have as great an impact as power in the atty and nic content do.

PGA can warm the vape, but I've not noticed any TH difference.

Like others I really want to test the new Qhit from FA.

That said, it has come down to flavor selection for me. Acidic, like citrus, peppery and some tobacco flavors are what I've found for upping TH.

You are not the only one chasing this beast.

I've been struggling with this for months. Assuming the same nic level, it's all in the atty and a consistent power source. I think I'm just finding my sweet spot with 3.7V with low resistance atty or 6V with standard resistance. Don't run the atty too dry though or it might blow too soon.

Also a USB passthrough usually gives me better TH than batteries.

What I've also noticed is that older atties which are a bit "dirty" but still up and running tend to deliver better TH but who knows about the extra stuff you inhale...

I use my silver bullet almost exclusively now. I use the protected 123a batts at 750 mah and a true 3.0 volt x 2 batts-this gives me a 6 volt pv. I also use predominately Atomic Cinn from tasty vapor and do enjoy Mutts fire and Ice from Vaporbomb. Both juices give great throat hit and the extra power delivered from a 6 volt is great for me-Having said that though-the producer of the silver bullet (Altsmoke) does NOT recommend that you use the batteries that I have described and adamantly only recommends that you use the 18650 battery at 3.7 volt. I am taking my own risk here and I am aware of that fact. Throat hit, power, flavor = excellent for me.

Don't buy this, it's extremely dangerous (I didn't even buy it): 16 Million PURE Capsaicin Crystals, 1.0ml.

No kidding. Atomic cinnacide is WAYYYY too sweet. It tastes like he added 80% Ethyl Maltol, 15% sucralose and then 5% cinnamon flavor. BARF! It's sickeningly sweet.

Well I may buy that, but for now I calculated the $/SHU and the 500,000 SHU Diablo Loco sold by Decadent Vapours is cheaper at Totally Wicked.

Pure capsaicin is 16,000,000 SHU, if that's what you're asking, and a few flecks of it will destroy the lining of your stomach. I put a drop of the Diablo Loco on a burger and it ate away some of the skin around the inside of my lips. I also tried a drop in 3ml and it was extremely harsh (which would be somewhere around 6,000 SHU). So I'd recommend going for a 2,000 SHU liquid at most to start with.
