Does nicotine play an important role in e-liquid for throat hit?

I've only tried a few types so far, but it seems to affect it alot along with the flavor. The 24 mg cinnamon im using now has a pretty harsh throat hit, maybe even too much.

I only vape 12mg but it seems to be mainly the pg/vg ratio that gives a good throat hit. I use a 70/30 pg/vg most of the time but I tried some 40/60 at the same 12mg and it had no throat hit whatsoever. I am sure with certain mixtures, nicotine does factor in to throat hit but with 12mg I can't tell.

it affects it allot, pg, pga, voltage, resistance all play a role in it to though... but i mixed some liquid when i first got my diy supplies, waited to taste test before i added the nic and it had no throat hit. added the nic and it was way better
should add it was give or take 70/30 or 60/40 pg/vg till i added the nic, which did bump up the pg level to probably 75 or 80% ( i dont know for sure i was inpatient and excited so i didn't measure anything) but it made a huuuge difference, more then i've experienced vaping 70% pg to 100% pg at the same nic level.. if that makes sense

It does play a part, but so does flavor and so does the ratio of PG and VG. The more PG in a juice, the higher the throat hit, and the more VG, the more vapor. A flavor like cinnamon will inherently have more TH than say, banana.

Nicotine is the TH

Heat can enhance TH (you can get heat on 450mah+ fat battery models and mods by using LR parts)
But heat cannot create TH out of nothing

PG lets through more of nicotine's TH than VG does
PG alone has no TH

Some flavors have a it of their own throat sensation (mint, menthol, cinnamon, ginger, pepper, other spices, etc)

I get good TH w/ 0%-80% VG mixed w/ PG and nic.
I get dry mouth w/ 80% VG long session.
I loose TH w/ long session of approx 30-50% PGA.
100% PG is thin and tends to leak.
100% VG is thick and does not wick well.

TH from spices is interesting.
Jury still out on safety of vaping spices.
