" Throat Hit"

I am new to all of this and I am really looking for a mix or juice that will give me the throat hit I want. I was reading through all of this info and I hit on a store link and I found a juice that was named "throat hit" and I lost that site. If someone could help me with the sites name. Or ideas on what I should be doing that would be great.

I have an eGo-T with a LR atty.

Not sure on the site for the juice "throat hit" but I agree with the others, throat hit is mainly off of the nicotine level your vaping for the most part. I personally like pg juices at 24% nicotine this seems to be the best balance for me but you need to probally start in the middle % and adjust from there. Read a little more in here on post about flavors as there are a lot of suppliers. I like the juices from vapor4life and there is a newer one called kickbassvapor which is getting high reviews. I just ordered from them last night. Hope this helps

Tasty Vapor ( Welcome to Tasty Vapor ) has a great flavor and a good throat hit, Atomic Cinnacide! It taste like one of those fireball jawbreakers. I get the 24 mg. I have used several different types of e-cigs and different flavors since I started in March. This flavor and coffee are the only ones I use now. I have recently moved up to the Echo series of E-Cigs as well. With the Atomic Cinnacide and the Echo manual, I finally have achieved the throat hit I need! D&B Gold ( D and B Gold - Home ) has really great prices and quick shipping. I have purchased 4 kits from him....all of course the Echo's! Good Luck!!

Throat hit is a combination of lots of things.

  • Some flavors have better throat hit than others (Cinnamon, Menthol and some of the other spice flavors like Ginger).
  • Higher PG content liquid has better throat hit (and a higer mix of VG can lessen it in liquid but will give you more vapor).
  • Higher nicotine provides better throat hit (but I can't go above 18mg, so that's out for me).
  • A few drops of alcohol (Pure Grain Alcohol/Everclear) or even Vodka can help provide a better throat hit.
  • Higher voltage seems to help liquid translate throat hit as well.

Added: I get a great throat hit from Halo's Smooth 8.

There needs to be a "sticky" on throat hit.

There are only TWO things that provides 90-95% of throat hit: warmer vapor and nicotine strength. More PG vs VG, additives such as PGA, only change the throat hit by a small percentage. And that may be all a person needs, which makes it a little easier.

Warmer vapor comes with more power, which is provided by more powerful batteries: 5 volt and variable volt batteries provide the warmest vapor and thus much better and consistent throat hit over a much longer time frame. If a person has not vaped on a 5 volt or variable volt PV in comparison to 3.2v - 3.7v, there is no way they would realize the significant difference. The other part of the equation is obviously a higher level of nicotine, generally in the 18-36mg range.

LR attys can also help with smaller battery PV's (3.2-3.7 volt). But they have a shorter life span and are more inconsistent.
