Omeprazole is the "generic" (the drug in Prilosec)

Could be, or maybe not. There are several different meds in this class of drugs. Zantac (ranitidine) is another.

Even though I worked in medicine (physician assistant and RN), I never remembered the generic name, only the brand name. I always had to check what the generic name was before writing a prescription.

Hi I use this
70/30 only 3mg and I have done since I started 3 years ago.
I use a smok morph. I really don’t know what it is but I never felt like this when I smoked cigs

I used this once. It has food colouring in it. I didnt make it 1/4 way through the bottle before I binned it. Heisenberg used to be my favourite adv but I had never had blue Heisenberg before until I tried this brand.
Pretty soon after using this blue Heisenberg I developed a really sore throat. Itchy and felt like a lump in my throat.
Only reason I remembered this thread was because the neighbor has been using some juice with food colouring in it, reds and yellows, and commented about feeling like she had a lump in her throat which hurt a bit when she swallowed, coffee, tea, saliva, food etc.
She spent a couple of days just vaping unflavoured vg/dw/nic since and said it seems to have eased up.

Welcome to ECF, Char. I would've suggested more water, evening out the PG/VG ratio (or even going higher on the PG side), or changing flavors (maybe all the way to unflavored), or to just temporarily stop vaping. Since I'm a bit late to this thread and others have read my mind and you have tried these things already seemingly to no avail, I'll just say I hope you get this sorted out.

Could just be your getting kind of sore from vaping too much with a heavily flavored juice....how many mls do you go thru in a day? If it's quite a bit you can try less and perhaps try a different juice that's not as heavily flavored

It’s so bloody annoying! I’m 28 and I sound like an old grunting man and then I’m clucking away trying to swallow.
They said acid reflex at the docs and gave me omprazole but it didn’t help. Then they said it could be globus but I’m convinced it’s the liquid in my vape

OP has not been back on since the day they posted this thread.
Let's hope she is communicating with her doctor to get her acid reflux under control.
