Do what makes you happy brother. I like supporting US mod builders so I choose to buy authentic. I have the means and an understanding wife though… I do suggest at some point in your vaping career that you treat yourself to an authentic piece. I've held clones and they just feel light and slightly cheap (IMO) after having held authentics of the same piece.

I use a bit of both. In general the real thing is usually made of better materials and better QC also by buying the real thing you are supporting the person who created the device. That being said if it is not in your budget or if you want to try something before shelling out a huge some of money to try it I see nothing wrong with clones. Not everyone can afford to pay $200+ for a device so in that case I also see nothing wrong with clones. Some people may say it is stealing. But for a lot of these guys creating high end devices that are made in small batches are not loosing out to the clone market because their products are still selling out faster than they are made. If anything it helps them in my eyes as someone may try a clone and say hey this thing works great let me get the real one.

Personally I'm more drawn towards the authentic product and so far it has paid off for me :D

A colleague and I both started vaping about half way through November last year, I opted for an Atmizoo Roller and a KFL+ to top it, he decided to first go the ego route, than the K100 (in which he vented a battery), and now an innokin itaste that apparently broke over the weekend and at the moment he's without a mod.

All and all I've spent about 220 euro on my setup and he has spent almost double and is without an apv at the moment..

My :2c:

EDIT: I just realised that this post makes no sense at all as this is about clones and my colleague didn't buy those.. SORRY!

???

Some clones are clearly garbage, but I'd be willing to bet that you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the higher quality clones and their inspirations. In fact, I'd bet that the MOD maker wouldn't be able to tell the difference without looking at the very small details. Some clones are said to even be improvements over their authentic forbearers. Not all clones are equal. It's a matter of discovering which are good quality clones and which aren't.

I too have a Roller (a super sweet MOD) but have an Hcigar Kayfun 3.1 clone on it. It works marvelously. I also have an authentic Russian 91% that I don't like nearly as much as my Kayfun clone.

All my Authentic gear Always works the best! Always!!! Sure, one can find decent clones that work admirably, but, you get a few clunkers along the way, tis a gamble. Never has a Authentic piece of vape gear failed for me.

I tend to buy authentic gear first, then if it's extremely pleasing then try a clone and see if it's up to snuff. Never judge authentic by the performance you receive from it's clone. Do judge a clone by the performance received from the Authentic.

I'm basically into Mechanical and high amp regulated mods firing re-buildable atomizer tank systems. rba's, rta's, a good variety please. lmao.

Waiting for the next great rba to be developed, it's been like a month or two since the last one came out. Seriously long.

Vape long and Prosper.!!!

P.S.: The cat bites.!
