Thug Juice from MBV, am I missing something????

So with my last order from MBV I requested a sample of Thug juice to see what the hype was all about. When I first got it I gave it a try and basically just tasted pure menthol. Well now that it's steeped some (was made on Feb 8th) I decided to try it again and I am still not getting any fruit flavors at all, just menthol for the most part. It's not a BAD menthol though and will be a good juice to use to wake up my taste buds when needed. I am using it in my Aspire Nautilus, 50/50, 0 flavor shots and 18mg nicotine. Running a coil reading 1.7 ohm at 3.8v. Just curious if it's just me or what. Also how does Hawk Sauce compare to Thug juice? I was thinking of requesting that for my next free sample but if it's not much different I may try something else. Also, I never smoked menthols, just regular full flavor filters. Thanks guys!

Hawk sauce is definitely fruity without a doubt. Thug juice at 50/50 is indeed mostly menthol. I find that sweet spot for MBV is 60/40 with 2-3 shots. This is personal preference but I find that I like their juices the most at the described above.

I'm finding out that we need to run lower ohms in some cases to bring flavors out. I've got ohms law down, but not the relationship of resistance to juice.

Funny because with Thug Juice I taste white grape and a lot of it but no menthol just the cold koolada type at the end but not the mint type flavor of menthol. I have tried many juices with the cold in it and really love thug the best out of maybe 20 different flavors I have tried.

i like hawk sauce and thug juice but they are pretty low flavor to me. thug juice is basically just menthol...i dont taste watermelon or grape at all. hawk sauce tastes like a very light mixed berry to me. i use both at 50/50 18mg 1 flavor shot.

for fruit i think their green apple w/ 2 shots is really good. its my ADV. not to sweet, a little sour a bit crisp. needs to steep and air out a bit though. i found mine to have a bit of a "powdery" aftertaste when i first got it.

that is if you havent tried it all ready or absolutely hate green apples.

I haven't had Thug Juice yet. I've tried some 0mg Hawk Sauce at a vape shop. I do however love Faux Hawk which is Hawk Sauce with a raspberry twist on the exhale. Hawk Sauce is great on its own but Faux Hawk definitely adds to it in my opinion. It's not a strong Menthol and there's plenty of fruity notes.

I'm getting the same out of Thug Juice but it was their flavoring, not the completed mixture. I mixed at 15% and I get strong menthol with a hint of fruit. I like menthol in VERY small amounts and only in certain things. Hawk Sauce, on the other hand, I love. It does have a slight menthol taste but it's faint. I let my friend try it. She says it tastes like a "Nerd's rope" (that sounds wrong), the candy. Which is actually pretty accurate. With the Hawk Sauce, I bought the completed juice, 50/50 no flavor shots. (I did add a couple drops of sweetener) It did take a good week for it to be good. At first it was stronger in menthol. (not as much as Thug juice)

Thanks everyone! I think I'll get a sample of the Hawk Sauce next time. Kollin-what vape shop were you at that had MBV? That's pretty cool! I've had several of their juices and have liked most of them.

I did not like Thug Juice, menthol in it is overwhelming. This was my first order from MVB, Thug Juice, Pear (which smells like strong acetone), and 555, which i didn't like much. (ultra sweet and no nuttiness to it, does not resemble any 555 I've tried before but at least not unvapeable) I talked about this in another thread and some ppl said to let it step for a month. After 3 weeks nothing has changed and i don't think it will to good. I understand it is my opinion and that many ppl love MVB juices. Their custom service is #1 though, their prices very reasonable and they ship really fast.

My Dad used to say everything is relative. If you are not used to vaping menthol, you're gonna perceive Hawk Sauce and Thug Juice to be heavy menthol. If you are used to menthol you will probably taste the fruit. Thug is more menthol to me than Hawk. Hawk sauce tastes like smarties candy to me. I haven't had Thug juice in a while, but I do remember it was really refreshing in the hot weather.

Same here on Hawk sauce. Let steep four weeks and it was just too much menthol. Wonder if there are some inconsistencies in their process? Or maybe someone not following the recopies? Any way it went into trash. Everyone else loves it.

Hawk Sauce has no menthol in it, it's alcohol that you taste. It's exactly a blue jolly rancher dipped in alcohol. Tastes nothing like nerds rope or smarties to me.

I got no flavor shots, so I don't know if that's the difference? Mine (Hawk Sauce) wasn't that mentholated. I also let it air out overnight. (cap off)

my hawk sauce has slight menthol and i was a menthol smoker. thug juice def has way more menthol...not to strong for me though.

I just ordered my thug juice yesterday so I'm impatiently waiting for it now. I hope it isn't as menthol-y as you guys are suggesting it is. I guess I have to wait and find out. I'll let you know what I think

I got Thug Juice as my freebie last order, so no extra flavor shots for me on that.

Anyways, all I really get from it is menthol with the slightest hint of fruit on the exhale. I don't dislike it, but of the 10 juices or so I've bought from MBV, it is my least favorite.
