Thug Juice from MBV, am I missing something????

I agree about the Thug juice. It's very strong on the menthol. Hawk Sauce, however, has slight menthol (to me) but I enjoy it. Thug juice, so far, I do not. I don't like heavily mentholed vapes. (And I used to smoke menthols too... but once you go regular 'bac, you never go back)

I got Thug juice as my freebie last order, so no extra flavor shots for me on that.

Anyways, all I really get from it is menthol with the slightest hint of fruit on the exhale. I don't dislike it, but of the 10 juices or so I've bought from MBV, it is my least favorite.

Same here on Hawk sauce. Let steep four weeks and it was just too much menthol. Wonder if there are some inconsistencies in their process? Or maybe someone not following the recopies? Any way it went into trash. Everyone else loves it.

As a menthol lover, there is no such thing as too much menthol.

Hawk Sauce has no menthol in it, it's alcohol that you taste. It's exactly a blue jolly rancher dipped in alcohol. Tastes nothing like nerds rope or smarties to me.

My Hawk Sauce has zero menthol and tastes like multiple fruits covered in smarty dust...

Hawk Sauce definitely has menthol in it. I am 150% sure of it.

They have actually confirmed that it does not contain menthol. Have you tried their White Out flavor? I am tempted to order some but I wonder how much menthol it has in it.

I placed another order with them yesterday and requested Hawk Sauce this time so we'll see how I like that. I don't DISLIKE the Thug Juice, just something I've gotta be in the right mood for is all.

White out to me tasted exactly like straight wintergreen, I wasnt getting that cool effect, or maybe like a white tic tac kinda flavor. I didnt like it, maybe you will though. I was a menthol smoker and I didnt like thug juice at all, or hawk sauce. The only MBV juice I did like was moo juice, which I mixed with halos subzero anyway. Ive tried many of there juices and didnt like most of them but there an amazing company with some of the fastest shipping ive seen to date.

i think what everyone means is that it has a cool menthol taste to it. maybe they dont add actual menthol but their is a definite coolness that is associated with menthol.

Please verify and post your source. I just spoke with them 2 days ago in regards to hawk sauce. They told me that it does indeed have menthol in it.

Interesting. Being that post is a year old I wonder if they changed the recipe since then? Who knows. All I know that is last bottle of hawk sauce I got was fruity and cooling, maybe not mentholated. Thanks Number1.

Yeah there is a definite cooling in there, didn't mean to make it sound that there was none. I just hope mine will settle down after it's been steeped a bit.

I was a menthol smoker for about 21 yrs ( ports ) and Ive had Hawk Sauce many times, both MBVs already made and my own diy and Ive never gotten anything but a blue tasting jolly rancher and a few other fruit notes I cant put my finger on. Thug Juice is definitely menthol, not a very strong one though imo, considering my old cig habit, and I can say that after a lengthy aging process the Thug does mellow and the fruit notes wake up, its most certainly a juice one will either love or despise, the Thug is definitely not for everyone...

Hawk and Thug were nasty when running resistances in the 1.3 - 2.0+ ohm range.

Once I dropped it down to dual coils through a dripping atomizer at roughly .4ohms the flavor was much more complex, and I picked up a lot of the fruit.

Granted the dual coils + and RDA with large airflow gave me 10 times the amount of vapor through my Provari /w Tank...

There's only been a handful of flavors that are better through a Provari & tank system running 1.3 and up ohms... For the most part (in my opinion) almost every flavor is better when running sub-ohm (almost every flavor)...

It's obviously the amount of vapor produced, more heat, faster reaction time of the coils heating up, airflow in general that makes flavors shine through RDAs/RTA/Genesis...

If you own an RDA and know how to wrap your own sub 1.0 ohm coils, do yourself a favor, if you have Hawk & Thug from MBK, give it a run through your device with a different build... I dont recommend running anything sub 1.0ohm over 12mg nicotine.... 6mg is usually perfect since you're producing ten times the vapor, if you dont you may burn your throat due to the nicotine and cough your ... off.

Anyways, i thought I'd share my experience with these 2 flavors moving from a Variable Voltage Device, to a Mod w/ RDA running sub-ohm - they tasted much better.

My order will be here Monday. I'll have to try Hawk Sauce fresh out of the box and see how I like it, then try it again after some steeping. I'll let you guys know what I think about it and the difference between the two.

Ok so I got my package today n the bottle I wanted to try was Thug Sauce. It smells amazing! !!!! The taste is good but would be better with less menthol no doubt about that. Is hawk sauce comparable? If that has less menthol I'll f et that next.

I have bought both and I am on my third bottle of Hawk Sauce. Thug Juice is just not my thing. I like Hawk Sauce, but I love Extreme Ice by them better. Solar Flare is pretty good as well. I really liked the lemonades at first and now I cannot vape them. they make my throat hurt. Madagascar Vanilla is OK, Cola is IMO one of the worst flavors ever only beat out by Moo Juice. I cannot stand that one. I have let it steep for over a month now and it has this smell I just can't get past. I'm sure it is the cream flavor as it smells like artificial butter to me. I just can't do it.

I got my order Monday and they did send me the sample of hawk sauce I requested. Only problem is they sent me an 80/20 mixture and I always get 50/50 and asked for 50/50 ''if possible''. It's not big deal and I'm still going to give it a try, just haven't yet. I'll update this thread when I do.
