I've been vaping for 2 years, and my wife was very iffy about my doing it from the first time we talked about it. Part of what she does for a living involves research and I know she's researched the topic. She never said much, just passive remarks about 'What if it's not safe?' 'What if it turns out it does cause cancer?' ...and telling me I vape too much. So today she drove me to the doc since we're now down to one car, came into the exam room with me, and before the doc came in she *insisted* I bring up my vaping. I told her I would if she promised to not make any remarks during the session. So I brought it up. The doc said something like, 'Well, it has nicotine, but at least you don't have to worry about carcinogens. If you're going to smoke this is the way to do it.' So now she's heard it from a physician we both trust, and I have this to fall back on if she finger-wags at me. Hooray!
