I just realized it has been 6 days since I got my eGo kit!!! Where did that time go, and why didn't I realize it has been that many DAYS??? Okay, I know many of you are years, months, and days into quitting the analogs, but this is AMAZING! While I haven't completely stopped smoking, I am pretty close. In these 6 days I have only went through 14 cigarettes, not even a whole pack :) So that is GREAT for me. Now why I find it so shocking that it has already been 6 days is because any time in the past when I have tried to quit I would tell myself I couldnt have any cigarettes. I would freak out because I didn't have any and I would be counting the minutes then hours ect... since I had my last smoke. Every minute was an accomplishment to me and I would watch the clock. Now this time, using the ecig, I am not telling myself that I can't smoke. I am making it more difficult for myself by leaving them outside in the car, and buying off brand in non-menthols so that it is the opposite of what I normally smoke. By doing this I have cut way way down and haven't even noticed how much time had passed. I really believe this is going to work :D I don't think it will be much longer until I don't have another analog, they just aren't doing it for me today at all. It is tasting like crap and I am not getting that satisfying feeling from them like I did before. I think it will be even better tomorrow when my Vision Spinner and Kanger mini protank II gets here with all of my ejuice from MBV. It does not feel like 6 days :)

It goes even faster when you're looking through the forum. It just occurred to me that my kids have been asleep for 2 hrs and I've been vaping and reading threads. Gotta get up for work in 6 hrs. Doh! Gratz on getting closer to being analogue free. :toast:

I know what you mean! I've been on here off and on all day. I have went to other sites to look at something real quick, then Im right back here again LOL

Man, its been almost 3 years since i smoked a cig... It seemed like yesterday I just got my first start up ego kit. being analogue free is a lifestyle change. You aren't necessarily killing a habit, your replacing it with something safer, but by doing so causes a chain reaction. you can work out and not feel terrible for smoking, some can taste things again (I never smoked nearly enough to not), and sometimes quitting leads to meeting new people who share the same problem as you and they are using vaping to get through it. Keep it up!

Yes better equipment does make a big difference, but ...
What strength are you using in your juice ??
It might not be "doing it for you" because your not getting enough nicotine.
I used 24mg to get off the cigs and did not have any cravings.
If nothing else, keep some stronger stuff around for those moments that you feel a craving.
Other than that, you can start cutting the nic down anytime your ready.
But first you need to drop those few cigs your having, so don't cut yourself short on nic.
No hurry .. cut back at your own pace, and count the ones you didn't smoke.

No, the analogs are not doing it for me. That is a good thing :) I have been using 18mg and cut back today to 11mg because it was causing me problems like not being able to fall asleep well, shakiness, and a little bit of pounding heart feeling. I actually feel better on the lower nicotine than the higher amount, and am not craving cigarettes today. Smoked one this morning more out of habit than anything. On the lower nicotine I have a more peaceful feeling than on the higher, but I am a menthol light smoker so that may be why? I think I was mistaking too much nicotine for a cigarette craving as weird as that sounds.
