fatherdano, since you mentioned 'jobsite', I'm going to guess you do not work in an office. Reo Grand/18490/mini are made from a solid block of aluminum and they are practically unbreakable. You can drop them in liquid, step on them, kick them, throw them, etc. and they will not break. If I were you I would call Robert at Reosmods (207-490-9783) and talk with him. He can advise you on what to purchase. He will not try to oversell crap to you that you do not need. If you want to get a Reo (which I highly suggest, have a Grand and Mini 2.0 myself), this will do:

1x Reo Mini 18490 (or get a Grand if you have bigger hands; note the grand takes 18650 batteries instead of 18490)
3x AW IMR 18490 (18500) 3.7V 1100 mah AW IMR 18490 batteries
1x - Xtar MP2 II battery charger

Purchase a spare spring, and a few extra 3ml bottles for the Reo Mini 2.0 as well (6ml bottles if you get the Grand).

For juice I can recommend Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes, USA made E Juice, and Accessories as their prices are reasonable and flavors are reportedly very good. Start out with 18mg or 24mg nicotine liquid.

Beyond that you will need atomizers. I suggest talking to the guy you spoke with at your jobsite to see what ohm atomizers he was using. I find 1.5 ohm atomizers to produce vapor that is too hot (literally, burns the back of my throat), and prefer 2.5 ohm atomizers.

LR510 Low Resistance Atomizer 2.0 ohm (Cisco Spec) - Avid Vaper are regarded as some of the best atomizers. Add a few drip tips as well 510 Transparent Drip Tips

I tried 3 different electronic cigs in the last few years but they sucked and each time it was throwing good money after bad until i discovered the Lava Tube from Volcano. Works like a champion and i've helped 9 friends get set up with one... every single one of them are ecstatic with the LT. All 9 of them and I have immediately quit smoking analogs...with no withdrawls. Buying an electronic cig is kind of like buying a car... lots of models... some better, some far worse. You get what you pay for, but you don't need a Rolls Royce. From all my reading everyone agrees that Provari is supposed to be the best one of them all but the lava tube is designed with the same technology and is half the price, it hasn't been around nearly as long but i'm very satisfied with mine.

Yay for You and for all of us! I would definitely say start with an ego or Reo. Type B cart for you, if you are smoking 35 a day. The big thing for me was finding a battery (I keep several ready to go!) and the juice to go with it. It was easy. I flushed remaining cigs, emptied all ash trays and moved on. I did relapse once and came back. Smokers cough - gone. Resting heart rate, down. sleep and feel much better. As for equipment, just get it! you might google to see if you have a smokers lounge and call a few smoke shops. Nice to go in and see them, feel them and have a little expert advice get you started. I am happy with my current set up, but am also interested in the provari....but ego is working for me. Wishing you the very best! It is amazing to quit using the ecigs and just enjoying smoking....and not having to go out in the heat / cold to smoke!

Odd question @OP

How is it you've been here since Nov 2012 with a 650 post count and just now want to quit smoking? I think it's great you found a good device but it just seems odd.
