Hey look what the Tea Party is trying to do to the US History text books, Facts are meant to be rewritten to obscure the truth right?
It doesn't matter what you say, as long as you sound convincing when you say it.
This thread is not even on topic anymore . Where did the contest go. I think this contest is like the last person to post contest lol
Hey Kids ... What time is it .. it's History Time!

"Drinking the Kool-Aid" refers to the 1978 Jonestown Massacre; the phrase suggests that one has mindlessly adopted the dogma of a group or leader without fully understanding the ramifications or implications:
at Jonestown, Jim Jones' followers followed him to the end: after visiting Congressman Leo Ryan was shot at the airstrip, all the Peoples Temple members drank from a metal vat containing a mixture of "Kool Aid" (actually Flavor Aid), Cyanide, and prescription drugs Valium, Phenergan, and chloral hydrate.
Jonestown was the informal name for the Peoples Temple Agricultural Project, an intentional community in northwestern Guyana formed by the Peoples Temple led by Jim Jones.
It became internationally notorious when, on November 18, 1978, 918 people died in the settlement as well as in a nearby airstrip and in Georgetown, Guyana's capital. The name of the settlement became synonymous with the incidents at those locations.
A total of 909 Temple members died in Jonestown, all but two from apparent cyanide poisoning, in an event termed "revolutionary suicide" by Jones and some members on an audio tape of the event and in prior discussions. This includes over 200 murdered children.
The poisonings in Jonestown followed the murder of five others by Temple members at a nearby Port Kaituma airstrip. The victims included United States Congressman Leo Ryan, the first member of Congress assassinated in the line of duty in the history of the United States. Four other Temple members died in Jonestown at Jones's command.
To the extent the actions in Jonestown were viewed as a mass murder, it is the largest such event in modern history and resulted in the largest single loss of American civilian life in a non-natural disaster until the events of September 11, 2001.

Thus the FauxNews network, spillers of half-truths and outright lies.........:facepalm
There used to be an overnight news show on NBC at that time when it broke and I was a night owl even then -- I remember waking up my dad to tell him about what was happening......
People now cannot understand how the world was a much slower place to get info, there were only 13 channels, no news networks, and the big three were competent and respected!!!![]()

Guys... Sorry about ending the contest this past Sunday... I had to go to the hospital for what I thought was food poisoning.
Turned out to be a lot of toxins in my system from all the materials I work with. Nothing is toxic with the Saber... just other material I work with.
Please, if you work with things that can cause problems, please protect yourselves.
I just got home a little while ago, and I'm so sorry that production was put on hold, and the ton of emails weren't answered. I will be working on emails tomorrow, and I hope production will start up again this weekend. Sorry for the delay on getting Sabers out to you all. But I need to rest some more today and hopefully things will get on track again over the weekend.
Thank you all for your understanding, but I'm better now... It was a close call though.
I won't be checking responses today, but I'll be back on the computer tomorrow.
Thanks to all of you.
