Been vaping for a year now. Started with the 510-T and it kept me from using analogs indoors. The regular atties began to lose their effectiveness, so I ordered up some LR atties. Low Resistance worked for about a month, but I became annoyed with the short battery life. Bought a VV Lava Tube and used the standard 510-T atties with it....MAGIC! I haven't had an anolog since. :)

Within the last few months I've been noticing the 510 tank atties aren't giving a consistant vape and they don't last nearly as long. Maybe the quality has taken a dive or my vaping has increased. The tank atties cost me about $8.00 each and cartos are looking to be a much better bargain. I hear that cartos give a more consistant vape as well, so I'm ready to give them a go.

I'm looking to try out a few different types for myself, but would like some direction as well. I'd really appreciate some recommendations from fellow vapours....

To make it painless for you, I'm really only looking for 3 things...

1. Your favourite Carto (that isn't LR)

2. A Tank to go with it.

3. A Canadian vendor(s) that sells them.

Thanx to all. :)

Boge or Kanger cartos. Boge if you like a cooler vape, Kanger if you like it warmer. My tank suggestion isn't from a Canadian vendor but it's the best tank I have found at the best price - Mom and Pop Vapor Shop Sub Tanks. I have like 4 of the Minis and my boyfriend and I love them. No issues with shipping to Canada and it's less than $5 shipping. They have fantastic juice too ;) My Canadian vendor recommendation for the cartos is Canvape, you will not find them cheaper elsewhere, plus Adam and Tom are fantastic. :)

Ive been vaping for a month so im still kind of new, but from my experience, I never liked attys (used a coned atty with a smart cartridge) i find i didint get much vapor, and it felt abit cold and the draw was a bit hard for my liking :p

then i tried regular 510 cartos... they worked alright but again...I didin't get much TH from them

now im using MY EV TORCH and a Visions stardust clearomizer and I love it :D, Lots of vapor..nice warm vapor and also great TH
this week i should be getting about 3 more of them with my Ego booster (turn my torch into a VV) and should be a lot of fun :)

anyways I get my supplies at electrovapors and the service is great :)

PS: the clearos come in regular res and LR and have a drip tip on top :)

Hope that helps :)

I swapped to these a while back. large capacity. used on an 1100 mah riva battery. straight pg liquid. never a dry hit, never leaks, I chain vape a lot. allready had to fill once today. swap battery when it's time to fill the tank. no special tools or syringes needed, fill with the bottle.

takes a bit to fill a new carto so I fill the tank and drip in the top at first until it's full. then it's good until it dies. replacements are cheap. 510 DCT V2 Tank + Dual Coil Cartomizer + Drip Tip

there's a larger tank version too but this is plenty big enough for me.

I am a newbie Lava tube user but here is what I have been enjoying since Friday :)

Boge LR cartomizers with a drip tip.

Smoktech Chrome 4ml Tank Dual Coil Cartomizer ( swapped to a 2.5 ohm dual coil ), have to raise the voltage to get a warm vape.

Stardust, I like the no fuss no muss approach to this, but you have to keep the voltage down or it tastes burnt ( < 4v seems to be my limit ) , which ends up with a cool vape and the flavour is less than with the cartomizer, but maybe I need to break it in more.

The links are where I got mine from I am sure there are other places

On my next order I am going to try the LR version to see if it is any better

You use those and then throw them out? Why not just get a nice carto tank and replace the cartos in it instead? Be a lot cheaper. Sorry if I misunderstood.

I'll second Pipeous' setup. It's pretty much fool proof and inexpensive to start out. There is a larger version of the DCT if you feel you want to have more volume on hand. If you really like the tank setup, you can get much more exotic (Glass or stainless steel) and larger tanks that use the same carto for great results.

I personally started out with the DCT but have now gone to Phiniac glass tanks, with the largest one I have (the Tall Boy) easily holding 2 or 3 days worth of juice.

Another vote here for the Stardust, easy to fill, clean and dryburn.
Have a couple I've been hitting hard for well over a month now.
No muss minimal fuss. Don't leak!!

Just rinse and dryburn when the juice starts changing flavour
after a few fills and they're as good as new again.

For the 5 or 6 dollar cost I think they're excellent.

May not be your best choice if you like flavours that crack polycarbonate tanks though.

Cheers.:vapor::vapor:

EDIT: Think you'll also need an adapter(510-ego) for the LT.

I bought a box of cartos with it. I don't clean cartos. if I get 2 weeks for a buck 25, I'm happy. been getting longer because the tank setup keeps them from getting dry

and if you had followed the link, you'd see it was a carto tank ;) lmao

LOL I did follow the link, silly. I meant a nicer carto tank I guess. I was wondering if you throw out the entire setup and keep buying new ones. It sounds like I misunderstood - doh!

Hi For my VV stuff I use Boge SR. The sticker on them is very easy to remove. I have a bunch of different tanks but the one we use all the time is the Chibi tank. It only cost about $5.50 empty and works great. The only bad thing is it is not available in Canada. Parkes Vaping has them. The VPX is also a decent tank and in Canada. Good luck
