Ok peeps, time for the daily ask ECF post!

It is time to step up my vape experience and I have some thoughts but where would we be if we didn't bounce ideas off one another?

First, where I am currently: I use an eGo v (variable voltage) with a Kanger T3. It was the set-up that got me off smoking and it worked pretty damn well. I have used this for two months now - I still like it and it has saved me money.

I still enjoy using it but there are a couple of things I would like that it just isn't designed for.

What I am looking for: I want more battery life, a consistent output over the life of the battery, variable output (VV, VW, or both), more available power (for times when you just want to get hit hard) and lastly the most bang for my buck.

I believe I am settling on the Vamo. I am open to other ideas as well. Regarding the Vamo - what version is best? V2, V3 (is there a V4?)

Finally, what tank system works best with this type of mod? Wide open on this.

Thanks for your advice!

Edit:

Is fasttech the only place to get deals like that? Obviously waiting on something to arrive from China bums me out. Is there a decent place to order from in the states?

Euless Vapor has the vamo, full kit, for not a whole lot more than Fasttech, if you don't want to wait. They also have the iTaste MVP (VV but not VW) pretty darn cheap. (Free shipping on all products.)

They were out of the MVPs though, so I got mine from iVape for $5 less with free shipping. (Just be sure to read the description and use the coupon code.)

I had been leaning toward the Vamo myself, but in the thread I started about it (comparing the Vamo and the MVP), MVP won hands down, so that's what I went with.

Evods work well on both and the MVP comes with a couple of iclear clearomizers that are pretty fantastic. Dual coil, nice warm vape.

Anyway, good luck, whatever you decide!

Orbtronic 18650 2900 mah high drain batteries. I can get two days of steady vaping using that battery.
If you get a Vamo, great device with a lot of features, IMO buy it from a vendor/store that offers a decent warranty; at least 30 days.
I know someone who purchased a Vamo at a really great price. It came with a 14 day warranty and the device stopped working after only three weeks. He sucked it up and paid for another one, and it has worked fine. All these mods coming out of China are hit or miss. Another device you may want to consider is the Volcano Lavatube V2. It's only VV, but it comes with a one year warranty and the device performs really well. I own two myself, along with a bunch of other devices, and they have never given me any problems.
Tanks are subjective, but the 5.5 ml J tank from Electronicstix are great for big mods.

I too put my vote with the MVP. You can see mine in my profile pic. lasts me about 5 days (alot of times if im out and about like at work, I carry a 400 mah for pocket convenience) and it has never let me down, for the money based on all the mods I have bought, its unbeatable.

Thanks for the feedback folks! Have been away from my computer for a while, and I come back and have some great input!

I ended up going with the Vamo. I am still looking for a new 'omizer system to put on top. My T3's should fit fine, but I am interested in trying out some new types. The Protank is out of stock on FastTech, but I am going to order one from somewhere. I'd also like to try something completely different as well so will be on the look out for recommendations for 'omizers that compliment the Vamo.

Cartotanks. The Vamo is a perfect device for these and a 6 or 7ml tank will last awhile. Pyrex tanks from IBtanked are very affordable and bulk purchases of cartomizers from Sure Vapes is very cost effective. Be sure to get a carto punch as the non-punched cartos are much cheaper than the pre-punched.
