Hey guys,
I'm a bit of a plotter, I research forever before I make my purchases online but, my brother is returning from South Florida tonight and if I can make my mind up quickly, I won't have to wait three weeks for hardware.

I've been considering the Innokin Proton ($61) & the Aegis Legend ($57) kits for a while now and a store near my Bro's location has the Legend ($64) but not the Proton.

Here are the options...
Original Drag Mod ($43) + Alpha tank ($24) or Falcon tank ($30)
smok Species kit ($75)
Vaporesso Switcher Kit (65)

Which of these would be your choice?

Hi and welcome,
How long did you smoke and how many per day?
What equipment (if any) do you currently have?
Will your brother also buy batteries and a charger if needed?
What is the nicotine level of the juice you use?
Do you need a dual battery device? For longevity or high power?

Cheers
I
IMO: NOT SMOK.

Drag with the falcon mesh. Good combo. Its what im using currently. The falcon m2 mesh coils seem to be the best drop ins ive used in a while. I get 2 weeks out of them and could probably go 3 weeks but i just pop in a new one at 2 weeks anyway. Ive had almost a year of uninterrupted service from my drag so i cant say anything bad about this mod

For me, vaping is all about the two most popular types of atomizers, the tank and RDA's, each with their variations. The build should guide you how to optimise your other required parameters. Suggest you query types of tanks and RDA's along with their pros and cons.

I'm sorry for the delayed reply guys and thanks for all of the helpful responses. Let me answer one by one

Smoked Cigarettes from college years till early 30's, about 12 years. I'd only smoke while partying which was usually every night. I then got into Cuban cigars and then broadened that to include all cigars again while socializing, which was normally on weekends.

I went to a Christmas cigar event three years ago and a local vape shop had a setup. I had promised DW that I'd quit at the end of the year so I bought a vape pen for my Bro and I and I've smoked two cigars since then; one for the hell of it and the other upon becoming a godfather.

Vape History
One night on a pen vape and I was at the Vape shop early the following morning. The choices were a $200.00 dollar Alien or a $60.00 Kangertech Subtank Mini, I went with the Kangertech.
Smok Alien - died within six months
IPV Vesta - Still have it but can't go below 92 watts (dropped it) the down button quit working. Use it in TC
Voopoo Drag - Stolen
Smok ProColor - Still have it but battery door won't stay shut almost from I got it I have to wedge a pice of cardboard in there.

I have a couple 2 battery chargers but I haven't seen one for a while.

I vape 6mg but my local shop (Shout out to Plume Vape Lounge!) only stock 3's so that what I've been on for a while. The normally bump em up to 6mg but they've been out of nicotine for a minute.
Yea I'm strictly dual 18650 devices.

I'm a tank guy especially if they come with a rebuildable deck

Welcome to ecf :) I would go for the legend...have heard nothing but good stuff from everyone. My second choice would be the Drag but try and get the 2 if you can :)
That's what I did. Got an original Fireluke tank to go with it but now I see why reviewers show you how a large tank look on mods. The look is not ideal. It wasn't available but why do you prefer the Drag 2?

You don't have to spend 200 for a crappy mod! You can get a good 1 for 1/4 the price!

I wouldn't say I prefer the Drag 2 but it's definitely a good VW mod and I like the form factor also. With the legend i'm not keen on the way it looks but that's just me and I can't take away from it in terms of its resounding recommendations here which is why I knew you would be happy :)

They're not that bad, a lot of the added cost is import taxes, for small countries, border taxes are easier to collect than income taxes. I do support them by buying juice and coils.
