How does everyone (who doesn't drip) know when to change the cart. I'm afraid that I'm gonna burn one up

When the flavor drops off or changes is usually the first indication, I can tell by the scent of the warm cartomizer. It does take a bit of practice to get used to it and you might burn a cartomizer or two in the process but it really doesn't take long.

You will notice a change in the taste. To me it taste a little metallic, that is when I switch to a new cart.
I'm just not sure bc I did the spinning refil trick where I easily got 30 drops and it seems like the flavor dropped pretty quickly but the vapor is the same as when I started.
I am probably filling way before my carts are dry but like Michelle said if your taste buds are shot like mine it may be harder to tell. If I'm not sure I just top off the cart.
on average, how long do u think 30 drops should last, like how many draws? i know everyone does it differently, but I was just wanting an average
They say 200 or so draws but that really depends on what PV you are using. If your using a 6V then you will get 200 or more draws. If your using a 3.7V mod then about 150 and if your using a standard kr808 battery then maybe 100. I say that because that first draw on the kr808 is a waste. Its a primer puff or you dont get anything much the first draw. Only on the second draw do you really get that cart going to get what you need.
Higher voltage burns more juice per draw. Standard batts are 3.7v, so 3.7v mods and standard batts should generally be about the same, but the HV mods (5v and up) will cause the carts to not last quite as long on a refill.
The flavour tastes really low, and you may get a burnt taste out of it. (light burnt taste)

You won't damage the cart unless you get the REALLY BAD burning taste though. When it starts to drop off you are getting low, and I prefer to refill then because I like the taste of a freshly filled better.
