I would love to try to make my own I always get lost how to make a switch

You can buy everything separately or as a kit. One place I get my kits at is Motley mods (motleymods.com). A decent mod kit will run you around $50 plus shipping. You can make them with an on/off switch (if that's what your talking about). It's not hard at all. Since I've made this one I make them with a mosfet which won't fry out the fire button. The ones I've made with a mosfet I've gotten rid of to friends. I just had some enclosures show up in the mail today so I will be making another couple soon. Here is a pic of the wiring to my mod I just made.

This one was built before I knew about mosfets. Like in my comment the ones I make now have mosfets in them. I have been vaping on this for a while and haven't had an issue with the fire button (not a switch, switches are for on/off from the battery) being burnt out.

What you are making there is not a mechanical mod. That is an unregulated mod which is quite different.

I agree it's not a true mech. A true mech is tube mod and a box mech is one with no wires. I understand it's an unregulated box mod.

You've been around long enough for me to cut the crap and just say:
Grab a $20 clone.

If you really like it, save up and buy the legit one with the authentic logo.

Haha ya I getting a clone to see if I like that I do that a lot before I pay 200+ on a authentic
But lately the clones have been just as good in build and volt drop seems like it's getting to the point that authentic is for bragging rights

Absolutely.

I get that some people want to own an authentic, but you don't need to spend money on a Bentley just to drive to work.

I got the black one.

Fasttech will eventually have the good and bad clones.
With FT you really have to check the discussions to find the better clone.
Those guys hold nothing back and will dissect them.

In all honesty The only real drawback I see to these mods which maybe even in the original is there a threaded directly into the resin or plastic or what ever it's called I dont know how well that will hold up if it ands up striping out I would think u cud get some slab wood make ur own put in some steel shanks to screw into
