Wife and I got my mother-in-law vaping almost 2 years ago and she's been doing great. She's not technical by nature and since inception has been using a Spinner battery with old style TS3s and Evod tanks. As she's coming down to visit for graduation in a couple weeks, we've decided to upgrade her setup. So .........we purchased her a MVP 20 watt (she'll never use this much power) and a couple PT2s and coils.
I know the PTs can be finicky, but wife and I have been using them for quite some time. I've been rebuilding them and added AFC base so what we have is better than stock. I've picked up a couple STM's ...but only started experimenting with them, this is not a tank my mother-in-law would be interested in (this I know for a fact). Not sure how she'll take to the silica in the PTs- time will tell. Only reason I thought of this tank is that she can clean and dry-burn the silica to extend wick and the coils are readily available and cheap (she's a bit income strapped). Plus it's glass so no frosting ....and replacement parts or easy to acquire.
Outside of the PT2s; what else is out there for an improved vape? She's not into rebuilding or cloud chasing. The tank and especially the coils MUST be available and relatively inexpensive. Preference would be to get her using glass tanks and again - replacement parts need to be available.
What's the preferred (meaning cheap and readily available) option: Atlantis, Nautilus, eLeaf Air, Kanger Aerotank? What are these tanks and associated coils costing? Are the coils cotton or other (meaning 1 use and done or re-usable)? I know this is as subjective as juice, just trying to see what the population uses without reading 100s of individual threads.
