Yeah, it was my first telescopic device. I bought it from FT. The button sucked, so I returned it.

The one they sent me back had a sucky button as well. That was about 7 months of back and forth. Then, that was about the point where I declared FT sucked.

    Still buy from them .

I loved my handblown Pyrex carto tanks :) I sold them all :( Wish I kept a few. They were so pretty!

When you mentioned the aquarium filter, my first thought was the lipton pyramid tea bags hack. I tried it one time. It tasted like fruity tea.

AB FAB vid, asmcriminal! So funny to see the 4081 and alllllllll that vapor! :smokie:

And my fave... the enormous eliquid bottle! Good times!

Yes, it's also funny when old school video say, "Look at all that vapor." and it's a little puff. We would use drops at a time, now we use mLs.

If I had to use aquarium filter foam and my own drill for airflow and a bf pin to get vaping to work, I'd be reading this thread while puffing on a Marlboro Light.

Many of us were, believe me. When cartos first came out it was like a miracle. The improvement in taste over all that jury-rigging was what got a lot of people (me) to finally drop tobacco.

I used regular teabags. The pyramids were always sold out. I never understood the difference, but hackers do like to get fancy. ;)

Somewhere in the dark recesses of my mind i seem to recall buying e-liquid in 1ml bottles. I know LF used to sell 5ml bottles in the UK for around $3.

A lot of e-juice makers sold samples in those little bottles. I still have some of them - they were too adorable to toss.

It sure was, the Boge was the best back then, and then the carto tank, we were in heaven:)

Wow. All I can say is thank you to all you early adopters. If I had to use aquarium filter foam and my own drill for airflow and a bf pin to get vaping to work, I'd be reading this thread while puffing on a Marlboro Light.

Yeah... Back in the day, Very Few things worked great right out of the Box. And the ECF was Loaded with People with Crazy, and Not so Crazy, Ideas of how to make stuff Better.

It was Truly the Golden Age of e-Cigarettes.

I remember being in a Thread where the concept of "Dry Burning" started to be discussed. And the ensuing Debate over what would happen to a Silica Wick if you did?

Amazing just how far things have Evolved.

I much preferred Ikenvape cartos. I'd use SMOKtech if IKV were not available. I hated Boges; their polyfill was packed too tightly.

Ikenvape cartos were highly sought after, and often were out of stock. You could sign up for an e-mail alert when they came back into stock, and everyone who used IKV cartos would message all their friends, "Ikenvape cartos are in stock!". They'd all be gone within a few days time if you didn't jump.

Rumor had it that Ikenvape commissioned Boge to make his cartos to his higher specification standards: higher grade polyfill, higher grade coils, larger laser-drilled holes, etc.

    Anyone use IBTanked cartotanks?

Ikenvape was my favorite, too. I found them at what I think may have been the height of their popularity and often ended up waiting. Then I started buying in quatitity, I still have some in my drawer. My tanks are broken.

I watched Grimm for the Britney poster...... I'm not very proud of that fact, but it pays to be honest on ECF.
