I am currently using ekowool from KidneyPuncher as wicking material for my IGO-L rebuildable atomizer. Today when adjusting my coil build, I noticed some tiny dust like particles shedding from the ekowool which for me, were a cause for concern. I was simply adjusting the coil wrapped around the wick about 1mm when I noticed these tiny particles breaking off and landing at the base of the atomizer causing it to appear "dusty". I also noticed some on my finger tips from handling the wick and they appear almost as tiny pieces of glass, shiny crystals. I Has anyone else experienced this? Any thoughts or concerns regarding the matter? I worry about the inhalation of these particles. Thanks in advance.

I also noticed this with my short time using ekowool. The first time I noticed it I was just cutting the wick to size and happened to have the sun shining in thru the window and I was amazed at the shards that that flew everywhere. From that point on I haven't used it. Just don't feel good about it (even though I do believe that when it is wet these shards can't be inhaled), and I just would not be able to trust it in an rba for the fear or running it dry and the shards being inhaled. I am just sticking with cotton at the moment. It sucks, but the reality is we are the guinea pigs for e-cigs. We really won't know the long term effects of the materials and flavorings we use for years most likely.
